Flip that sucker right side up. The fact of the matter is, there would be something more wrong with the US if it accepted this.
Climate actually has very little to do with weather, and a lot to do with pretending that people in other countries are somehow suffering under terrible environment. But here's a nice question to make your brain explode. If the US is actually so full of polluters, why would more people coming to the US and adopting our carbon-fuel use help the environment? What, you can't answer that? Well permit me to tell you what "climate change" is actually about.
Ocasio-Cortez: Climate change responsible for illegal immigration
It's about changing the economic and social "climate" to one strongly mimicking feudalism, where a small minority class (let's call these "the 1%", but they are not necessarily the ones liberals sell you on; instead think of tech types in California, big politicians, and companies like Disney and Coke) tries to pretend that farmers are elites simply because they are white and male, while actively trying to replace them with foreign slaves. And I do mean slaves, such people by entering illegally because of imagined reasons of climate fall into two categories:
1. Sex workers
2. Untrained labor paid an illegal salary because they technically are working under the table.
In the mean time, actual residents are told they deserve a salary of $15/hr which nobody will pay them, but this is undercut by illegal workers hired at about $4/hr.
Liberals get tricked by their party leaders into believing immigration is good for those involved. But watch that video and tell me if this is still cool with you.
It is incredible and saddening that there is still Climate Change denial in 2019.
It is if anything even more of a shame than the anti-vaccine movement.
Let's ask you a pointed question. Why should we consider this a "shame"
and admire this?
I mean, the second one is "green" right? Can we be honest and admit that most of the climate laws turn areas into slums? Because this is what happens. When we go ahead and grant asylum to ppl because of climate change, what do you think happens?
Europe’s refugee crisis: Trash trail left behind by asylum seekers upsets locals
They dump trash in the streets.
When we pass draconian environmental laws, what do you think happens?
We have decaying cars in the streets because they can't be melted down, can't be used without huge taxes, and making new ones becomes unenvironmental. Btw, in case you think "Yay, we saved the environment", ask yourself about all this junk like auto fluids just sitting and slowly leaking into the groundwater. Then ask yourself the environmental effect of banning plastic. They might surprise you.

In short, it's not that people are too stupid to believe climate change. It's that climate change entails a way of thinking that is in fact toxic to everyday life.
