Cre·a·tion·ism
krēˈāSHəˌnizəm/
noun
  1. the belief that the universe and living organisms originate from specific acts of divine creation, as in the biblical account, rather than by natural processes such as evolution.
Is there any? I often hear creationists lean on arguments from ignorance or the present lack of scientific understanding, but I've never heard of any verifiable evidence for it.

While I believe in creation and a Creator, I reject the label Creationism. That said, the scientific evidence for creation is simple. Any complex entity requires a creator, especially information based entities, such as the chemical messages in DNA. Or as the Bible simply and irrefutably states: "Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God." (Hebrews 3:4)

Wind is the movement of air, and it doesn't require volition, consciousness or will.

Wind require no God for movement of air, not unless God sneeze, snore, barf or fart.

Elsewhere in the forum I've asked you several times to state the "evidence" you keep referring to. The above explains why I've had no luck: you apparently don't understand the difference between evidence for a claim and an assertion of that claim.

How complex is the god you worship? More complex than say, DNA?

Ok, but these are merely claims. What evidence do you have to back up that all complex entities have a creator?

the hall of mirror trick doesn't work on God.
Someone had to be first.
But, you continually say that everything has a cause, utilizing cause and effect at every turn. But, when it doesn't fit your argument, it is conveniently discarded.

and now you must step forward and demonstrate the contrary.....your claim

you may plead ignorance if you like

I remain sure
And, I'm interested in figuring out why you think you can be sure. Can you explain that? Spirit first doesn't really get around our lack of understanding of the cosmos as an entire species.

It is sad when people deny the evidence before their eyes. As the Bible rightly states: God's "invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they [who deny God] are inexcusable." (Romans 1:20)
