I don't know. You might be correct, but I don't know if this is the best example. Narcissists, I think, wouldn't really have patience needed to delay showing off in something more elaborate like that which would require waiting.

Jesus can seem as a Narcissists to the ignorant, he was talking about his inner being the Christ, he made the inner Christ personified so as to be understood better by the ignorant. We are all the Christ when we truly realize it, now if I come out and say to you, I am the Christ, of course that would sound Narcissistic, but when you realize that I am speaking on all of our behalf, as we are all the Christ, then it doesn't sound Narcissistic does it ?.
