The present, in my humble opinion, is what matter and also better than the past, specially if those responsible for what happened in the past are already dead or cannot do anything anymore that we are free from their actions. I'm saying this because we live the present and can do something for it and for the future, unlike the past that we cannot change!

Yes, it is really awful and painful. You have no idea how the pain I feel knowing that the world is facing things like what you mentioned above, specially when I see it in the media. At some points I can't sleep and live my day normally. I wish I could do anything to stop it, but I'm just a single human that has no power except maybe over his own actions and to the near surroundings. So let us start with our own selves hoping others would take us as an example and follow our lead for the good of mankind!

No comment since I don't belong to specific cult or movement of Islam to have enough knowledge to talk on the behalf of one. I'm just a Muslim that wants to be in good terms with all others no matter what their beliefs, ethnicity or colors are as my personal understanding of Islam directs me. But the problem is others don't want to take me for the person I am, or take other Muslims like me for that matter, but they choose to group me with others which is not fair nor it is an appropriate way of thinking!

This isn't a debate on who has more slaves.
Slavery is wrong and needs to stop, they are human beings.
