The official teaching of Watchtower is that Jehovah's holy spirit actively directs the Governing Body in Scriptural interpretation and making decisions.

Watchtower claims that Jehovah's organization alone, in all the earth, is directed by God's holy spirit or active force.

NO HUMAN BEING IS DIRECTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TODAY! NOT ONE!!

Being DIRECTED and being GUIDED are not the same thing.

The writers of the Bible were Spirit directed.
They were inspired by the Holy Spirit. They NEVER got it wrong!

WE ARE ALL GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH HIS WORD. WE ARE NOT DIRECTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT APART FROM HIS WORD!!

I must state honestly that I am able to find scriptural support for that being how Jehovah God does it, even as he did with the seven congregations named in the book of Revelation.

Are you suggesting the Holy Spirit directly communicates with the GB? Where is the Scriptural proof?

They don't get a "progressively" fuller understanding of God's word. They constantly change their doctrine. That's not the light getting brighter.There is nothing progressive about it.

The Holy Spirit guides each and every one of us through His word.

Uhh, there not 33,000 different religions lol they may differ on certain verses but these verses don't go against the foundation teaching of Jesus Christ and Salvation which their UNITED upon. And the trinity is clearly seen throughout ALL of scripture as I pointed out in Dozens of verses in an earlier post. And no, the JW teachers have been deceived just like Arius who was a heretic when The Way sprang forth teaching that Jesus is a created being. There have been dozens of translations in the past 100 years by highly skilled scholars. And none of them agree with the New World Translation. But I guess to you the JW scholars are the only ones who are not biased in there work? That's not reality I'm afraid.

He taught that God--John 20:17, Rev 3:12-- so do his real teachers--2Cor 1:3, 1Cor 8:6, 1Cor 15:24-28--1Peter 1:3--Rev 1:6-- All 100% in agreement-Jesus has a God-his Father--the #1 teaching in the NT--

I don't claim to be Holy Spirit directed, apart from the word of God. I am not perfect in my understanding. None of us are. But your GB claim to be God's exclusive channel. That is a lie, and everyone knows it except for their followers, it seems.

I claim to be guided by the Holy Spirit through His Word as we ALL are.

Men like Sun Yung Moon, Joseph Smith, David Koresh and Jim Jones all claimed to be spirit directed also.

Think about it. If each of us claimed to be directed by the Holy Spirit, apart from His Word, christianity would be completely unrecognizable. Everybody would be doing their own thing.

There is ONE guide and ONE only, and that is the Bible, which the Holy Spirit wrote.
