I just found a program called DS4Windows that lets you use a PS4 controller on a Windows computer. It functions like Xpadder, except you don't have to scour the internet for the free version and it lets you use the touch pad as a mouse, complete with a left/right mouse click. You can also use the controller through USB or Blutooth. It's supposed to emulate a 360 controller, so I'm going to have to try it with Left 4 Dead 2, Fable 3, or Skyrim to see if it detects the controller as a 360 controller, and having a mouse pad is making me going to have to try it for WoW and D2.

I almost got the DS4Windows configured to my liking for WoW. It's actually pretty nice, and it's rendered Xpadder entirely obsolete for me.

I prefer my Nostromo and G700

Ya know, I've sunk some money into some hardware for a good gaming computer, and I even have a joystick that made EGM list of one of the best to have (I actually bought--and it wasn't to expensive--with my very first work check), but I've never sunk any money into a mouse like that. I've dreamed about it, and when I finally get a decent paying job I just might have to do that. Better yet, if I had access to a 3D printer, I could just make my own and program it with an Arduino.

I just played a round of Black Ops II because I was in the mood to shoot something. But after a round I was like "meh," and it made me remember I only got the game to play it with my nephews.

I need a really good RPG to play. I wouldn't mind something awesome like Champions: Return to Norath, or something else with mind-blowing depth of Disgaea, the absolute awesomeness of Vandal Hearts, the fun-factor of the Star Ocean battle system, and deeply touching story that some of the Final Fantasy games have. At this point, I wouldn't mind a faithful Xenogears remake, so as long as they promise to change nothing of the story or combat, and only update the graphics.

I also wish Blizzard would offer vanilla and TBC servers, because the private servers are either too dead to do much of anything or too lively to get any questing done. The massive exodus of Nostalrious players alone prove that Blizzard can be raking in some money and probably bring subscriptions back up if they were to once again offer the game that so many of us fell in love with. I haven't even played the official game since Pandaria, which left me feeling the game I knew and loved was dead and gone. My warlock was completely deflated, and my hunter didn't feel so Klingon-like. And I felt the accelerated leveling was too quick, because with just a one month subscription I made a Panda hunter and got her to max level. And then really missed the old days when I played as my Orc hunter and saw he had bullet bags and an axe, and my Warlock even had a soul gem bag, as well as the tailoring recipe to make them. At least I can say I had to quest for my Warlock mounts, unlike the younger 'locks who just got them.

And I hate these huge updates for PS4 games. If I would have realized the memory demands, when I still had a job when I got my PS4, I would have gotten a 2TB hard drive to put in it. And there is also the time it takes to download them when your internet isn't very fast. Even a after a couple decades, I still hold a grudge against game developers for assuming everyone has access to high speed internet.

My grudge is that now the consoles are releasing games before they are ready and relying on high speed internet connections to deliver the finished product.
Rather disgusting that you pay full price to be a beta tester.

Or how companies like Blizzard constantly "rebalance" their games. Back when I was still an avid Warcraft 3 player, my race of choice always varied based on what patch the game was on. Sometimes I preferred Night Elves, sometimes Undead, and there was even a couple patches that had me playing as the Orcs. And of course this "balancing" is pretty much what killed WoW as they took it from a game where RPG veterans could compete and be good even without being geared to making it easier, more appealing to the masses, and characters that are so cookie-cutter that you have to get the gear to be competitive because every other character is pretty much the same as yours.

Champions of Norath was pretty damn good! Have you tried "Return to Arms"?

Speaking of Everquest: if you are looking for a challenge, I suggest Project 1999... It might be a little too old school for you, though. XD

Right now I'm giving Onigiri a try. Something tells me I may not be spending much time on it though.

While Onigiri isn't a bad game, it's from being good. It's interesting what you can do with the combat system (you can equip up to four weapons, each with different abilities, a change weapons during combat), but the "Hell" difficulty of the dungeons is a total bore-fest.

I want to play something that's really hard like Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? It may be a PSP game, but it's difficulty is worthy of being compared to the difficulty of NES games.

Right now I have my Steam client download Tree of Savior, Neverwinter, Ragnarok 1 and 2, Everquest 1 and 2, D&D Online (which I actually beta tested years ago), and Star Trek Online.

I've been thinking about getting back into EQ2 as well... Maybe Guildwars 2. I wish Shadowbane would come back, though. XD

Return to Arms is what I meant.

Did you ever play the first Champions of Norath or just the sequel? Maybe both? =)

Just the sequel.
I really need faster internet. Neverwinter was the only game that finished downloading overnight, Ragnarok 2, which is 5.9 GB, still has about 40 minutes left, and I'm into the third or fourth day of downloading the TSO update. At this rate, next month's Playstation Plus free games will be available before I get this month's games downloaded.

With Star Ocean: First Departure, I have never played an RPG that has such a high random encounter rate that it annoys and irritates me, and that is with scouting set to reduce encounters! I can't even count on two hands how many times I literally haven't been able to go two steps without getting into a battle.
