I'm about to give FF13 another try. The first time I played it, from reading the description I was expecting a combat system similar to Star Ocean, but it wasn't, and I was so disappointed by what I saw that I didn't play after the first battle.

I got back into Oblivion because I've been in the mood to play it.
I'm also going to play God of War: Ghost of Sparta since it was free.

I started playing Warframe. As far as shooter/action RPGs go, I'm liking this one much more than Borderlands. The one downside I'm finding so far is that even Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark on the N64 had more enemies to shoot.

It has been a while ever since I last played Warframe, but the gaming experience you have at the start used to be fairly different from the end-game.

From playing a bit more, it seems alright. I could do without so many of the levels looking identical, and I'm really needing a challenge from it. I'm undecided if I like the levels being that short, but I do like it better than the way Borderlands is, with clearing areas out as you go on a quest, and then having to clear them out again as you make your way back to turn in the quest.

Aw, I feel like one of the few people who actually liked FF!3.
Granted I really didn't get a chance to play 11, but I haven't liked any Final Fantasy since 10. I'm going to give FF14 a try eventually, and I'm not holding my breath that 15 will be any good.

The real challenge used to be staying alive on ( end game ) Survival and Defense missions for a long while ( beyond 40 minutes in the first mode ).
It turns out it wasn't really worth the hassle though.

I just learned there is a Dragon's Dogma Online. I'm definitely going to have to check that one out. I'm also playing Dragon's Dogma at the moment.

I am considering pausing my second playthrough of Dragon Age Inquisition so I can finish Mass Effect 3 for the first time. My only issue with this is that I might get too hooked on it and I have 3 papers due in the next few weeks lol. DAMN YOU REAL LIFE.

I realized the other day that I've played more video games these past few months than I have in the past few years. But in three months I won't have much time for them again, but that's what school does to ya. I won't have a paper intensive workload this year like I have in the past, but I'll be busy drawing given I'm going back for the fine/studio arts program so I can have a good foundation to start tattooing with. I might make my first tattoo the Black Hand with "We know" under neath it, and then Alduin once I have more experience with skin - and I'll do these even if I have to put them on my own skin.:D

Funny thing is, I have a degree in English writing, philosophy, and psychology and I haven't been able to do **** with it. I even started freelance writing computer programs in high school, but that has not done me any good in terms of a career. I had an easier time making money in high school forging report cards for people than I've ever had out in the "real world."

Weird, I got a psych degree and a job a few days after graduation...

Anyways, I picked up DOOM. It's cool but I was pretty bored already after about an hour. Hopefully it picks up cause at this point I'm pretty bummed I spent the money.

There aren't many jobs around here. There have been, so far, two case worker positions that I have been able to find, and a few that require a doctorates. Around here you also won't find many mental health clinics, but there are plenty of bars and an over abundance of churches everywhere - over abundant in that I have no idea where all these churches in the country are getting people to fill them, because even though I live out in the middle of farmland I still live within 9 or 10 chuches and there is so many along just one smaller stretch of high way the is just outside of peru, about a half mile stretch, there are so many churches you need more than one hand to count them. And then Peru itself, though not a small country town, is far from being anything resembling a big town, and it has at least 20 some bars. I even learned of a new bar one night a few years ago when I saw someone stumble out of the door drunk. But you'll need Peru and the nearby towns similar to it to need both hands to count the number of mental health facilities combined. It's one of the things I can't stand about living hear. Church, bars, and strip clubs, and drugs are about the only thing to do, except for the occasional local band show of someone who isn't more than a cover/tribute band. But the their is such a small demand for psychology and psychiatry that most of what there is happens in places that handle general therapy, drug addiction, and people who need extensive help in their lives.
And I have a strong suspicion that these abundance of churches, boos, and meth have a significant impact on why anything but "work" is hard to come by around here. And Chrysler (used to be Chrysler of Delco/Delphi) being the big aspiration to live up to probably also plays a huge role.
