He's less of a dick in the newest game, and he's a bit more sympathetic. And even if you don't like Kratos, the gameplay hold up nicely. The combat just feels so meaty. Plus, the entire game is one camera shot, which means no fading to black after a cutscene is over. And the beginning section? Perfection.

I've never played the old games, he's great in GOW 4!! I wish my dad were like that honestly, he matured and changed!

I wish. I don't have a PS4.

the game ignited my passion for greek/norse polytheism!! It's really cool if u ever get the chance to play it!! :)

I picked up Battletech (PC) over the weekend on Steam. The game has some technical issues and the game engine is coded poorly but it is playable and fun. The current game is set 30ish years before the Clan Invasion and outside the Inner Sphere for the most part. I only have access to Federated Suns planets from the Successor Houses. So no new mech nor Clan mechs like my beloved Mad Cat LRM setup

I just bought Batman: A Telltale series. I'll edit this into more a review tomorrow, right now I'm deciding on a campaign slogan for Harvey Dent in the Gotham Mayoral election. I chose "a new face for Gotham".
No joke, I doubled over laughing when I read that, and the timer ran out. I restarted the game just for that option.

Been playing Farcry: Primal, which I'm enjoying far more than I thought I would.
And having a huge debate in the mages guild faction of my larp group as to whether or not Dragon Age: Origins or Inquisition is better. We're all pretty much unanimous in agreement that 2 sucks.

Farcry 5 baby best game ever.

Not on PS4 I play Civilization 4 BTS. This game can't get old.

Origins was better than Inquisition, the graphics for Inquisition were poorly done and there is less character development than in Origins.

I just finished playing Prey, helluva game, slow full of problem solving and is a niche FPS category, also just finished The Surge, a grueling grind fest with a new take on the Bloodborne style of combat. Great game and just as difficult.

Still stuck on the endbattle on Dark Souls 3.

I have yet to dig into playing primal yet saved not playing it cause I just burn through games cause my internet sucks where I live.

It's pretty amazing. When it starts, it shows the year the game came out, 2015 or whenever, and at first starts slowly ticking backwards, and it gradually speeds up, and the speed increases and increases, until it finally reaches 10,000 BCE. That reflection of how long ago that actually was pulled me in there. And then you find the characters speaking a language based on a reconstructed Indo-European language. We see things resembling the cave paintings in Lascaux and the Venus of Willendorf. The PC and his tribe are probably Cro Magnon, with one antagonist tribe being Neanderthal and the other early homo sapiens. Crude healing methods, shamans dressed in animal skins, and it takes place in Oros. Something that does disappoint me so far, however, is the what seems to be an absence of the atlatl.

I know what the game is about, that's why I bought it lol, but it will be a very tough bar to beat Farcry 5.

Just got into Everspace, interesting twist on a sort of "bloodborne" take on space combat flight sim.

Resident Evil Biohazard. I wasn't even interested in it until my nephew got it and described it to me. That they went back to survival horror piqued my curiosities, and from what he described I had to try it. I do get a House of 1,000 Corpses vibe from it, but that's just fine. This family is ****ed up to the millionth degree, and it's been a long time since a game has startled me enough to jump, and have felt some degree of dread hoping this mother ****er ****ing dies, and wondering if he's dead for good or not this time. I can't wait to finish it and play the Chris Redfield content.
And major kudos to the AI in the first boss fight for finding a way around the floor the fight is on, bypassing the door I was expecting the boss to come through, and instead running me through with a chainsaw from behind.
