Haha yes! One of ours runs (in fact it's the only time he actually runs) to his "salon blanket" at the mere sight of his brush. Then you can brush him till he falls into a blissful stupor. But so much as even try to brush the other cat and he'd most likely take your face off.My last cat (who finally was put down because she was suffering heart-failure at 17 years old) used to love being brushed -- but only for so long. A moment longer, and I was likely to get a good swat or even a bite. And then, an hour later, she'd come back, present the other side, and invite me to begin again.
Cats really do rule, you know. If you're going to have them, you just have to learn to obey.
