Maybe he got tired of people asking why he doesn't use a lawn mower.
Maybe someone bought him one so he wouldn't have to continue to trim the lawn with the scissors!
Sometimes he'd sweep the lawn with a broom, too.
He's a real nice guy, either way.

Yeah, I wouldn't care much for that if it was my garden either.
I wouldn't mind it turning into a piece of micro wilderness.
That's what I've done with the back yard. I just let it grow.
Brushing my teeth and waiting for a food delivery.
Lying in bed and falling asleep.
Wash dishes and rinse out plastics.

By the way, anyone know what "corduroy boyfriend trousers" are? Another women's fashion ad has popped up with a blonde wearing white trousers - presume these are they.
What the hell are "boyfriend trousers"? I had understood corduroy was now thought terminally uncool, in which case they would be the last thing any boyfriend - or anyone wishing to become one - would ever wear.

It's now mid afternoon, I'm sitting on the settee in front of a blazing fire waiting for the opium to kick in
Not having a spasm and living a normal life
I'd rather not be in such intense pain that i need strong prescription drugs to alleviate that pain.
Are you on Codeine, or perhaps Morphine?
I've been on them for my bad back but they didn't work
The doctor put me on some other class of pain-killers and they worked for me
Izalgi, it's 500mg paracetamol and 25mg opium. They take about 20 to 30 minutes to kick in and then reduce the pain bit by bit over a couple of hours.
They work for me though i would like something that works quicker
Luckily i don't need them all the time, maybe 1 to 3 times per month.
Not had one of them since i was a student. Loved the flaky pastry, it made the pie
I didn't know they still gave out basic unrefined opium......
