It works really good, then again I'm use to FPS on consoles(don't have a good computer for gaming). Plus I use V.A.T.S. quite a bit..... or the Fat Man, you done really need to aim with that all the time.
I use VATS only for my end-shots. the first few headshots go easy, but if the enemy comes close, you can buy yourself some time with VATS..

And the fatman isn't so nice when enemies are very close by..

Oh, see I like VATS for the SlowMo kills it gives you. And the Fat Man not good close range, I dropped a Mini-Nuke and a Death Claw in a room and got some splash back ^_^

I'm sure Morrowind and Oblivion need no ramblings. Well, okay. They're both great. End of ramble. :D

Oblivion was pretty meh without mods (which make it pretty sweet), but Morrowind was amazing. THERE IS A QUEST WHERE YOU HELP SOME GUY GET HIS STOLEN PANTS BACK! Nothing more awesome than that, though Sheogorath's quest in Oblivion was awesome too.

You help retrieve a pair of pants for a monkey in Tombi, and that was one of the best games that I have ever played.

Unfortunately, I have to play Oblivion on the 360 because my computer can actually only barely play Morrowind. I tried playing Oblivion on my computer and had to have the view distance ten feet and everything turned absolutely to the bottom, and it STILL lagged about 6 FPS. :sad4:

I do love Oblivion, but I do recognize that Morrowind is a better game, mainly because it's so much more modable. Oblivion's use of voices limits the modding potential a great deal, I'd bet. (though I'd hope there's a mod that fixes the overuse of voices :D)

I loved Morrowind, but thought Oblivion's leveling system was pretty stupid and pointless. It's actually easier to beat the game with a level 2 character than it is with a level 22 character.

I agree, I hated the leveling system in Oblivion. I do think how they made it to where you can use Magic without having to but your weapon away and "equip" your magic.

You know, that's very true. ^_^

Not to mention that depending on the skill, it's either too easy to level up a skill or too difficult. Restoration, for example, takes FOREVER to level up; seriously, just sitting there tapping the button, it still takes about five minutes to get the bloody skill up. On the other hand, Conjuration takes only a minute to level up just tapping the button.

I could get my sneak up to 100 before Patrick Stewart even appeared.

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

That's both hilarious and sad that you're able to do that!

Yeah, they focused too much on the graphics and combat, forgetting the rest of the game!

Not to mention the A.I. they hyped up (I'm sorry) SUCKED!! Well, okay, it wasn't that bad, but the way they hyped up the A.I. made it seem like they were almost actually people. Nope. That wood elf who runs into that trap in the Ayleid ruin comes to mind.:D

Have you got a Hyperdrive yet, Cardero? You need to level up a Rank 40 Item (such as the Apocalypse, Yo****suna, etc.) from level 0 to level 100 and kill the Item God 2 without exiting the item to obtain it.

mrscardero and I are playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance for PS2. She's under the impression that Wolverine is the best character to play but the beast has nothing to show for when CAPTAIN AMERICA THROWS HIS MIGHTY SHEILD!!!

Wolverine can kick your butt along with Spidy and the other characters you think are the bomb diggidy. BRING IT ON MISTER!!!

I finished playing Dragon Quest IV. I am still waiting to see which will be my next RPG game.

What's Dragon Quest IV like?

Oh, and what sort of RPG are you interested in? I might be able to provide a recommendation or two, considering that RPG's are pretty much all that I play.

Finished World of Goo and Orbient.. 2 wiiware games of the wii.
I have to say, I was surprised! I always thought of the xbox live an PSN as higher quality, but that's certainly not true! What I did like more of the XBOX live is that you can download demo's of your arcade games, but I tried World of Goo on steam first and liked it enough to try it from my lazy couch :p

Thank you Rojse, that would be appreciated. I can honestly tell you that mrscardero likes the cute "stumpy anime" turn based RPGs and she prefers to go portable. She has access to both a Sony PSP and a Nintendo DS. Her first RPG was PoPoLoCrois and she has been looking to recreate the experience. I suggested both your recommendations for the Nintendo DS Pokemon series and PSP’s Disgaea: Afternoon Of Darkness. She watches me play Disgaea and she calls it “chess” which I guess in some ways it is. She enjoyed Dragonquest VIII: Curse of the King for PS2 and it inspired her to the Dragonquest Nintendo DS series. I have been trying to get her to purchase ChronoTrigger (Nintendo DS) but we thought we would wait for the price to go down.
