In the Baha`i Faith we are relieved from regarding some foods as "forbidden". In fact we are relieved of regarding any substance as intrinsically "unclean". This includes, blood, menses, semen and what we eat.

PRACTICES may be unclean--like smoking, or drinking or using drugs, or sex outside of marriage, but the substance is not unclean.
