I was uneasy with him as a Christian. Jesus said not to trust anyone coming after him, and Paul contradicts him quite a lot. Like how Jehovah commanded many times over amd again to be fruitful and multiply, Paul says it's best to be like him and not married.
Today I read it and understand why, that I'm reading a confused, angry, hot and cold...those parts it's suspected and widely believed it's not actually Paul who wrote them.
Overall, what's attributed to him, it's like the rest of thr Bible in theres good and there bad. He is terribly misogynist. But he reinforces not judging others and accepting your own sins.
To understand Apostle Paul and he was an Apostle, contrary to some others gross misunderstanding of holy scripture, including others who deem him homosexual. There are people in this world that cannot read or write, but they can read an write the Holy Bible. Why, How ? God says, simply seek and you will find Him, knock and the door will be opened. He lives inside every living human being, as per the Holy Bible, New Testament and the older Old Testament, Ye are gods. We are all made in His image, as spirit, exception we are spirit encased with a flesh body. As a kid, just an older kid, nowadays, I wondered how can God be everywhere, even at the same time, maybe He uses the Angels ? But, years later, I found that, I viewed Him as flesh like us, but He is Spirit, a Spirit of all life. Even the earth is a form of life of His creation, just not to be worshiped, as the pagans do. You want to worship the Creator, not the created. Apostle Paul tried his best, died for it. He was fighting his own people, at the same time suspicious, doubting apostles, disciples and people he was trying to win over. Couple that with the wayward scribes, who added a word, subtracted a word, here and there, you end up with veering off track. It takes the Holy Spirit of God to get you on track and keep you on track, which comes from first seeking God in truth, all sincerity that you can, at the present muster, not knowing, not believing, but desiring to know truth. Then, seek Him, ask Him. He speaks. He will open the door to your understanding. He is a personal God. He desires a personal relationship. Ask Him any question and since His Spirit resides in all life, He will answer either directly or through someone close or far, at a church and they will, normally have no clue to what they just gave you, but you, will. God, His Holy Spirit, divides to each, as needed, every day of worship, some do it on the pagan day of worship, Sunday, honoring the Sun and others who know, the 7th Day, the Sabbath Day of God, His holy day as per His Ten Commandments. There is fellowship in the church, the right church, of course. Churches being like schools, some nursery, elementary, junior, senior, high school and some college types. They help to strengthen. If they do not strengthen, He will drive you out.
