I have no opinion on this. Havent seen the landing yet or the arguments of the opponents.
But what makes me wonder is how come there is no more moon landing? Definetely the technology now is better.
Or there is no money for new moon mission(if that happened or not, i dont know)?

Probably because there's no real reason to perform moon landings anymore. The moon is largely barren and doesn't have too much of value. What's more, we now have rovers and other machines that can do the job of an astronaut without potentially risking a life. I mean, why send a person into a dangerous situation to conduct research when you can get a robot to do the same thing?
I'd say that until we decide to colonize the moon, you probably won't be seeing any more moon landings by actual people... At least not any conducted by the USA (I don't know what other countries are planning).

I hate to break the news, but the microwave oven is WW2 technology.
If there's something that freaks me out is copycats.
It's the Russians who had the idea to explore the space first: America couldn't care less. It's this copycats attitude that pushed America not only to steal Russians' idea, but to show them they were better, by landing on the moon.

This might be one of the most stupid posts I've seen on this forum. How is going to space being a copycat? Are all the people who've ever built boats or houses also being "copycats"?
Not the Microwave as used today. The basic specs, namely the use of said microwaves(the rays, not the box) to heat things up probably even pre-dates WW2. But used in the manner we'd recognize as a "Microwave Oven"? That's NASA.

The vids are entertaining, and interesting. I think that we did go to the moon, so it's entertainment for me. It doesn't ''bother'' me, as an American.
you didn't answer my question. do you think that it is fair to copy other people's ideas?
or do you think it's a coincidence that the US started going to space after that the Russians did?
(and I want to underline that the Americans were wealthier and more technologically advanced, so it would have been more logical if they had been the first)

It's about competition, & how it works. Each side makes a stride, the other side surpasses, & then on & on. Americastan was already working on rocketry, when the Soviets launched Sputnik, but after this short back & forth, we pretty much drank their milkshake.
okay...but in this case. the US didn't gain anything but the glory. no money, but the right to say "I'm the best"
