Ya ni goveryou/ponimayou pa russkie!sorry...it was another video...I edited it.
I hope you got that the woman sings in Russian, at least.
Ya ni goveryou/ponimayou pa russkie!
(Can't do cyrillic on computer.)
I couldn't wade thru a rap video.
Why would I care what these bozos think anyway?
1. because we didn't hurt Russia by going. 2. we were already in space with satellites. 3. we got to the moon they did not. 4. it ignores all the scientific and technological advancement made. 5. Russia is still one of the top countries for space tech. 6. you have not made your case.why can't people understand allegories?
the woman stands for the Russian Volksgeist, which was outraged in the very moment the Americans stole the idea to go to space.
so....they didn't deserve to plant flags here and there on the Moon. That's all.
why can't people understand that the copycat attitude is intolerable?
Oh, boo hoo....poor Russians....couldn't ever land anyone on the moon. They stole the idea of space travel from the Germans, who stole it from Jules Verne, who stole it from.....etc, etc.why can't people understand allegories?

No its not, everything humanity does is a copy or improving something else, there is little to no originality. Again we caused Russia no harm by going into space and did the world a lot of good by going. It does not matter we went because some one else went to. We went and we did more. That's that.okay...all these points are absolutely right.
but the reality still stands: the copycat attitude is intolerable
exactly!!!Oh, boo hoo....poor Russians....couldn't ever land anyone on the moon. They stole the idea of space travel from the Germans, who stole it from Jules Verne, who stole it from.....etc, etc.

Think of all the things Russians copied from others......exactly!!!
We deserved to plant flags on the Moon because we could.....unlike everyone else. At their stage of development, the Russians couldn't even make a decent car, let alone a spacecraft capable of ferrying humans to the Moon & back.why can't people understand allegories?

I'd tell you to burn all your clothes, books, house, everything you've ever owned but you stole fire from the first person who made that too.I absolutely respect your view....but in my opinion competitiveness is something truly negative and destructive.
Besides being original is what makes our lives wort-living.
There are people who prefer not to emulate other people's achievements out of respect of their originality.
The pros and cons of competition aren't the topic at hand. I never even mentioned how competition drove it. America did not emulate America surpassed. All people and all nations have a right to explore and invent technology. Its not as if the Russians were to share there advancements. Nor do you take into account how the world we be decades behind on this important technology if we had not goneI absolutely respect your view....but in my opinion competitiveness is something truly negative and destructive.

Ignoring all the technological and scientific advancements. Also ignoring all people and nations right to invent, invest and explore.so it was just to show them who's the strongest and the best.
they already knew that.
there was no need to spend all that money
What's the use of having money if it can't be used to do great, inspiring, interesting, & embiggening things? Unsuccessful people will lament that our wealth isn't lavished upon them, but we don't run our affairs by their whiny demands for largess.so it was just to show them who's the strongest and the best.

He was pretty much asking for it.
