What if Jesus was the antichrist?

Your understanding of "anti-christ" is about on level with a child's understanding of calculus.
A vague statment, not directed at any person, appearently, and completly devoid of any merrit. This must be the pathetic shrugging off zorro was talking about.

There is no "what if" about it. Jesus can easily be called an anti-christ. He failed to fulfill the messianic prophicies, so he was not a messiah (christ and messiah are interchangable, christ being a grecko roman translation of messiah). Right of the bat, we know he's a false christ. When you factor in the fact that Dt. tells us that any one claiming to be a prophet that speaks against torah is surely a false prophit as jesus did, it reinforces the false christ conclusion. Then when you consider that jesus was in fact the opposite (or anti version) of what the messiah was sopposed to be, it's perfectly reasonable to call jesus an anti-christ. For example the messiah is to usher in a 1000 years of peace on earth, but jesus promised he did not come to bring peace but a sword. He never braught any peice in his lifetime, and his followers are in fact, the most blood soaked religion ever practiced, quite the opposite of what the messiah's to be. Jesus was an anti-christ.
Rather than just spouting stuff, back up these claims in someway.

Discussing a subject matter that you are vaguely familiar with and devoid of any real understanding warrants no merrit.

So now you are saying that I am vaguely familiar with the subject? This is ridiculous go thump your bible over someone else's head.

Zorro, in order to twist the anti-christ thing around properly you have to first understand the concept from the bible.
In order to do that you have to first understand that what preachers and churches teach does not equal in many cases what the bible actually says.
Parlor games are indeed fun, but your thread was more than a parlor game. However, if you just want people that agree with your gullable assumptions about the anti-christ than have at it.

For your information Itwillend I do know a thing or two about the antichrist. If say satan is technically "the christ" then Jesus would be considered the antichrist. Get it?

Well itwillend I do not listen to everything preachers and churches say. I have read the Bible for myself. And I have done many studies on the Bible.

:punk:

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...

But I don't think that the ha-shatan - the persecutor of mankind according to Scripture - would tell us to love our neighbor and bless the poor.
