lol, well that answer has substance to it, to disprove it doesn't; where as can show countless prophetic similes that have.

You are of course free to believe in your Greco-Roman Religion. But that doesn't mean that it holds any value to people who don't believe in it.

Thank you wasn't aware it wasn't inside the Pale of Settlement, thought it was just on the border; yet still doesn't change the stats, and that my genealogy is possibly connected. :)
'Before the Holocaust about one third of the city's population was made up of Jews'

That means 2/3rds weren't Jews. And people didn't intermingle back then.

Not entirely. Orthodox Jewish tradition teaches that the torah predates creation and that the forefathers had access to parts of the law. Mo might have been cut off from some of that, being raised in a different household, but he might have gotten a bunch of that when he reunited with his people later on. Of course, the term "Jew" post-dates that era. Are you now asking about what makes something different?
I know the rhetoric very well. I would have worded it differently. “ Creation bears witness to the torah”.

Don't believe in a 'Greco-Roman religion', that is the whole point in Revelations, and the prophecies about Armilus, etc... People who are ignorant to evidence, is why they're here within this realm in the first place. :innocent:

You cannot use the same term to define a term. If a child asked you what is a refrigerator would you tell him, “A refrigerator refrigerates”?
You asked about Jews, not refrigerators.

Refrigerators operate based on physics and thermodynamics, and it can be explained in those terms. The definition of a Jew is based in Jewish law, and it must be explained in those terms.

It's like saying a Christian believes in Christ. That means nothing. LOL

Given that the word "Christian" literally means "follower of Christ", it means everything.
Ok, a Jew is one who was born of a Jewish mother. Next question would be, "what is a Jewish mother". Your answer would then be, " a Jewish mother is one born of a Jewish mother". That tells me nothing.

It tells you who is a Jew.
And that is what you asked.

I can't help it if you don't like the answer.

My avatar is completely BECAUSE I sense a deeper meaning to the text. I don't think Shakespeare was necessarily writing anything significantly insulting to Jews so I am taking back the name and the character. I can send you to an essay I wrote on the subject if you'd like.
Yes please

You people make a mockery out of scripture. Your people willingly sacrificed your own children. For what, a book? I’m referring to the Siege of Jerusalem in the year 70 AD.
Why did you choose April? Do you mean the infighting around Passover? There are many events (including the battle in Iyar, which would probably be May) which led to the wall's breaching in Tammuz (July/August) and the destruction in Av (August).

I probably have the wrong month, but I know the year, regardless of the calendar being used. I’m referring to the burning of the Temple. The burning of the Temple was not authorized by the emperor of Rome. You do know who authorized it, a much higher power.

You may as well ask, what is a liberal or what is a conservative? People belonging to these groups don't have common physical characteristics or common nationalities or even common beliefs. There is a similar difficulty answering the question, 'what is a Jew'.
