What is God made of?

we are able to measure something that happened roughly 13.6 billion years ago but never has anything ever measured been percieved as a deity born of mythology.

For future reference: I don't take these type of statements seriously enough to argue with.

Maybe someone else will though.

Really? I don't know much about black holes. And I didn't know scientists had figured that much out. How new is that information?

I don't have an argument for that, because I don't know much, if anything relevant about black holes. But, I do have a question. If the universe started as the infinite and miniscule thing it did, and is now expanding, was it within a finite volume as well or an infinite one?
If the density of a given region of space is larger than a certain value, the object collapses into a black hole invariably.

I haven't read that link yet.. I'm tired.

But clarifying your first statement.. The density doesn't necessarily need to be infinite, but of a high enough value? Like poking a hole through paper.

Also, do you know anything about my other question?

As I said:

I am curious about how religious people imagine God.
If people have a belief in something or someone they must have thought about what that someone ore something is.

How do you fit God into the world?

I think there are good answers :) :

As God is neither of, nor part of this universe, and shares neither time, energy nor mass with this universe. it is total impossible to conjecture what his essence might be.

As a Panendeist I think God is made of everything... and also made of God

God is made of human imagination.

It's a very flexible material to work with.

1) Yes, 2) the universe started out as very very dense, and then space went wibbly. It's very hard to say what happened at that point.

Do they theorize that the universe was/is contained? As in a finite or infinite container?

Also, what causes the density to collect to the point where it becomes a black hole?

If we liken space to paper and a black hole to a puncture by a pencil being thrusted through, wouldn't it also be possible for that dense object to be opposed by the thruster, or the strength of the pencils thruster to be reduced, enough to smoothly move across the paper?

Not unless the universe is a computer simulation, or something akin to it. Gravity is one of the fundamental interactions, and so no in-universe mechanism or technology can change it.

Ok.

I did some reading on stars that become black holes.
A Black Hole Is Born
"During most of a star's lifetime, nuclear fusion in the core generates electromagnetic radiation, including photons, the particles of light. This radiation exerts an outward pressure that exactly balances the inward pull of gravity caused by the star's mass. As the nuclear fuel is exhausted, the outward forces of radiation diminish, allowing the gravitation to compress the star inward."

What if this infinite energy is like a star, but with infinite nuclear fuel contained densely into itself? Even though it is too dense, the infinite nuclear fuel's radiation would balance the inward pull of gravity forever.

Also, apart from my other star related theory..

I've always believed God to be the one who programmed and is controlling this universe.

So according to that, it is safe to assume that He would make Himself able to be the exception to any of His created coding.

Is God in or outside of the universe? Perhaps both. As what? Whatever He decides.

Does this conversation between you two have anything to do with the OP? If not, maybe you could PM each other about it or start a thread in a science section?

It has everything to do with it. I just formulated another two theories addressing the OP.

The radiation pressure of fusion is some finite value. The gravitational pull of a infinitely massive object is infinite.

The problem with contemplating the universe is the same as contemplating god. Both "universe" and "god" are identifiers, and as such, we use our identity to evaluate these concepts. With god it is philosophy, with the universe, science.

Each of those identifiers has its specialist. The Philosopher and the Scientist. Each of those identities can be further reduced; the being eternal, the being of now. Now we get to the point where all the mistakes are made: future.

Because there is no future until we create future. That is truth. Now look around, what is god made of? What ever you want to make god of; but think of what kind of future you are creating.

The scientific method is not truth; rather convergence towards truth. This makes science the only civilized methodology of a future of infinite potential. I am the limit, not the science.

The problem of this - which is philosophy, that we are all engaging in - is the same problem. I know of a world that is not Judith, a thing known to all "I" in history; the difficulties arise when those who compare the "I" of self to the "I" of god or universe look for "not-I." And duality occurs.

There is no canvas for the painting of the original singularity; it was the canvas. There is no "outside the universe," there is no "before the big bang;" there is something, there is nothing. The no-thing.

For that, you want to be Setian. ;)

God apparently is an inexhaustible source of energy.
[Isaiah 40 vs12,13,25,26]

Psalm [104v30] says when God sends forth his spirit things are created.

Jesus taught us that God is a Spirit. [Pneu'ma]
[John 4 vs23,24]

1st Kings chapter 8 repeatedly states that heaven is God's dwelling place.
'Heaven itself' is mentioned as a specific location at Hebrews 9v24.
Deut. [26v15 A] speaks of God looking down from heaven.
So, God would reside in the spirit heavens a realm that would be independent of any physical universe.

Infinite radiation pressure is not possible.

Why not?

I agree with all of this.
