From your religioues/spiritual understanding. What is heaven?

I dont ask for qoutes from the scripture, but about your personal understanding of what heaven is.
In most traditions, I'd say that Heaven is either:

- the quasi-physical place where God or gods live, or

- a coping mechanism. It's a creation to help people deal with fear of their own death or grief at the loss of loved ones through denial that death is even a real thing.

... or both.

Perhaps, but it also sounds rather boring, if one expects such an existence to be all goodness and light. At least here on Earth we get to experience the good and the bad and to understand where we should be - such that we might be able to create Heaven on Earth if we desired such.
If you believe heaven can or should include "bad", you aren't talking about the same thing everyone else is when they use the term. The whole point of heaven is the total lack of "bad".

The analogy is that heaven is like you would like to build a large mansion then invite all your friends and relatives to live in. You thus set up rules for the tenants to follow, say they can't yell after midnight or train up your kids to be criminals and prostitutes. You keep those failed to abide by your rules from outside of your mansion.

Similarly God is to build a Heaven to invite both the angels and humans to live in. He thus sets up laws for them to follow, or they will be kept outside.

Heaven thus is a place where angels and humans are living with a sin incompatible God. No more information can be available, as Jesus put if humans don't even believe in earthly things then why bother telling them the heavenly things.

Do we own anything in life? When we die we can not take it with us, so technically we only borrow our physical belongings in this lifetime.

That's irrelevant to the point made. If you own a house, you can kick a tenant out if he doesn't follow your rules or laws so set up by a society. That's the point.

Whether you still own the house after death is irrelevant to the point made.

Yes we all have to follow law set by man on earth or, God if we speak of heavenly realm but to gain access to heavenly realm as humans we must also reach the standard of moral they request in heaven. In my understanding anyway

You seem to miss the point. If God built a heaven, He sets the laws. Humans are not in any position to set up any laws in heaven.

Even on earth, you are born to subject to laws not set up by you but by those "owning" the country. Today's world is better in that we have democracy such that we can be part of the owner.

I know, but to gain access we must Cultivate our mind and body, to reach the level needed to actually realize the law of heaven (enlightenment) all of the human attachments to this physical world has to be let go of before the realm of heaven opens up to our spirit.
In my understanding anyway.

Why do you need a heaven when you can achieve enlightenment in our would? There is a danger in believing in a heaven in that you cultivate a disrespect for the world we live in. Why work to save our world - the world of our children and future children if there is a better world out their. Everything we know about peace, love, kindness and respect comes from and exists in this world this universe.

The way i understand it is.
Human realm is like a school where we are supposed to realize who we truly are, and to say it bluntly, without disrespect to human beings, we are fallen beings who are on earth to repay our wrongdoing from the past (karma)
Heaven is the true place we should be, where there is no suffering at all. This is why all spiritual people seek answer to what we need to do to realize heavenly realm again. And religions and Cultivation paths is the way to gain the answers.

Such a belief isn't based on anything actually found in the Christian faith - it's nothing but a distortion.

What we do in this world directly correlates with our experience of the next.

Tell that to those victim of voilence, abuse, bully, accident, disease and/or natural disaster, which they suffer under a short/long period of times, whether their suffering have ended or still in the progress.

Are you still certain that their life on earth is heaven?
A lot of those people, if not all, still have hope and still look at their lives as a blessing.

My personal view is that there is no such thing. It's something created by man by a false hope. The entire concept seems absurd to me. But everyone is free to believe whatever they want to.
