What is the Truth?

Truth to me is simple.
When asked a question we tell the truth.
I am not going to get into when telling the truth may be harmful and all of that, just simple straight forward telling the truth.
Being honest, straight forward, "truthful".
This is truth.

If we want to know the truth we must live a truthful live.
If we want peace in the world we must live a peaceful life, etc..

Everyone wants to know the truth.
People complain that no one tells the truth anymore.
This is what i mean by the truth.
Truth is simple and everyone knows what it is.
The more we live by it, the more we will grow in understanding and wisdom.

I would tell you what I thought was most likely to be the truth. But I cannot know for certain.

I like the different perspective of truth, there is macro truth (standing on the mountain), and micro truth (sitting on a rock).

Then, there is God's truth, which we don't see or know about unless revealed to us. If we know a God truth, we cannot share it because it lacks commonality, it's from a different dimension of reality.

How do you know that Yahweh tells the truth?
