What is wrong with calling Islam religion of peace?

Doesn't make it right. And definitely not peaceful.

What do you expect them to do? When a bully punches you, you have to stop that bully. Right? You can't just have him take you lunch bag away from you everyday. And, if there is no police around you, what will you do? You prob. would build an army to fight against him. Right?

Bro, this is what the police/teachers/religious leaders/courts are for.

You can hit him back if you think that will solve things and you're prepared to accept the consequences but what you can't do is punch the bully then proclaim you're being peaceful because if you resort to violence you're clearly not being peaceful.

Before Islam came to Arabia, some fathers would kill babies if they were girls. Muhammad put a stop to that practice.

Do you have better ideas?
We have plenty. ( Read Gandhi or MLK jnr for once or King Asoka etc.) Apparently the last and greatest prophet of God voicing the commands of God Himself does not. Apparently omnipotent God is unable to convince a rabble of desert tribal bands that He is God without conquering them forcibly with human armies.

Also obviously we should all believe the victor's account of the war regarding how bad those polytheists who lost were....

The religion of Gandhi is a bit of extreme don't you think?

This is untrue. The Islamic Scriptures record violence since Islam's conception. ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda etc. don't just pull this out of their behinds. The Christian Scriptures (NT), as much as I dislike them, make no calls to violence and Jesus rebukes Peter for cutting off a Roman soldier's slave's ear and he heals the ear. These are the soldiers taking him to Pilate to be crucified.
Sorry. Even the New Testament is far from a peaceful book; and Jesus himself is noted many times in the NT giving credit to and lauding the rules/laws of the OT.
