Buddha won't be. He was born a Kshatriya prince (warrior) and learned all the arts of war. He gave them up. He won't be Buddha if he did not, now would he?They would be total failures as raiders wouldn't they?

No way! Is that so?
How is it that you have a local Hindu Temple in the UK, yet in neither of my local towns is there a Synagogue?!Worshipping through idols is not some lucrative thing to do. The temple I go to has recently spent an immense amount of money on a three-ton idol, shipped from South India. This is rare though, usually the idols are offered up.
Where is this shiny new idol so I can make arrangements to introduce it to my happy hammer.Worshipping through idols is not some lucrative thing to do. In contrast with the billion dollar business of Mecca pilgrimage.
Mate I live out in the middle of Yorksheere. My local city is Hull and that has two Synagogues but taking a train there and back every week? Couldn't afford the ticket. This isn't my local temple! This is the Swiss branch of the ashram in South Wales I go to!
Although yes, there are about five Hindu temples here in Greater Manchester too. And some synagogues!
In that case Saudi Arabia should allow everyone to visit their land. Don't you think so?

But not everyone can go to Mecca. Non-Muslims are discriminated against and barred from going there. In that case Saudi Arabia should allow everyone to visit their land. Don't you think so?
Nah, would seem kind of pointless to me. It would be too "choppy" if you know what I mean.Go once a month?

If you are claiming some sort of higher moral ground...Some users of this forum paint Prophet Muhammad as a thief or a hypocrite, because he raided the caravans which belonged to Mecca pagans.
What is wrong with raiding the caravans which belong to people who constantly beat your people, robbed your people and murdered your people?
If you are claiming some sort of higher moral ground...
But consistency is not one of religions strong points.
My apologies. Can you post it in simpler terms for me to understand you?
Yes I agree completely. I am merely pointing to the fact that Buddha, knowing war, gave it up while Muhammad, a trader, became a war leader.I was referring to the peaceful philosophy of the Buddha and teachings of Christ. Going by that and Rivals comment, they would not be raiders, or killers.

Yes. Ask God to intervene. That's what Moses did, or every prophet of the Bible did. Do you not remember?Do you have better ideas? What what you do in that scenario?
