No idea about America, but for 15-25 year old males in England it's currently incredibly fashionable to be stick thin with tight genes, tight t-shirt and a bowl hair cut with a floppy fringe on one side. Legions of effeminate men currently patrol the streets looking like rejects from a bubble pop boyband.

I have never been one who has understood the "skinny" thing. When I see someone really skinny all I wanna do is tell them eat something. It looks so...unhealthy. Unhealthy, superskinny, bones-showing, emaciated look is so very un-attractive to me. I understand if we're talking about places in Africa and other places where true starvation is a problem...but to look that way on purpose, like so many actually do...ewww.
