What do you think should be made into a film?

I would say His Dark Materials trilogy, but they're making that, unless they're just doing the first one :/ (which I doubt) I hope it comes out good.

Well, it was always said that Lord of the Rings couldn't ever be made into a movie, and Peter Jackson found a way to make it into one spectacular trilogy.

So, now I'm putting out the challenge for the next Hobbit-like man (like Jackson is) to see if they can put The Silmarillion onto the big screen.

That's my big vote.

Then someone ought to put all the chronicles of Elric into a film version!

I know that it seemed for the longest time that my brother and I were the only ones who knew about Elric of Melnibone and his sword Stormbringer. I went through many times in my adolescence having a minor crush on Elric because he's just so.......I dunno...........sexy.

He's such the atypical crush, too. A frail albino with major moral issues with his destiny certainly doesn't scream Brad Pitt or anything, but I think that's why I totally fell for him. LOL

Plus, it's one heck of a story line.

He's such the atypical crush, too. A frail albino with major moral issues with his destiny certainly doesn't scream Brad Pitt or anything, but I think that's why I totally fell for him. LOL

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one...lol. I wouldn't say my crush was minor though. I think my husband still wonders if he would win if it was between him and Elric...lol. (Of course he would, you can't have a guy like Elric anyway). I do have plans though. My entire back will be the canvas upon which some great tattoo artist will someday make my love for Elric permanent.

Oh, I would expect Kojima to stay closely involved too! Ya know, I don't think I've ever seen a picture of David Hayter. Does he look the part as well? I always thought of Sam Elliot for Ocelot. He is the quintessential movie cowboy.

Have you read the Vampire Hunter D books? They are novels, but Amano did the cover art and some illustrations inside. The seventh one comes out some time this month.

I love D. I haven't been keeping up very well with the series though. I've been into some of the newer manga series, most notably Sugar Sugar Rune, Genbu Kaiden, and Rozen Maiden (not that new, but sort of). I should get the new D ones.
