I watched Young Frankenstein, but was too busy doing homework to pay much attention to it.
Then I watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights, which is still a very funny movie.
And now I'm watching Blazing Saddles and I can only see the one guy as Willy Wonka.

I hate being laid up from surgery. I don't think I've ever watched this many movies in one day before. I've also watched Super Troopers and Leaves of Grass. I think I'm going to watch The Grandmaster next, and see if I like it as much as Ip Man.

I think tomorrow my goals are The Producers, The Twelve Chairs, Silent Movie, High Anxiety, and Life Stinks. Then I shall have seen all Mel Brooks movies (too me long enough).

I did not like the Grandmaster as much as Ip Man. I'm guessing Yip Kai-man is of immense popularity though, given the several movies based on him, an upcoming third Ip Man movie, and even some TV series based on him. There was even some movie on Netflix that I thought was the third Ip Man movie.

Right now I'm watching Man of Tai Chi. Keanu Reeves, with the exception of Ted, makes for a much better villain than he does a good guy.

Godzilla 2014. Perhaps the only movie where the main character has less screen time than anyone else in the film. Amongst a host of other problems. A 1 out of 5; not less because 1 is the least I can give it!

Early last week we went and saw "Million Dollar Arm", and both my wife and I thought it was very good. If you didn't see it last week, too bad because they had free samosas at all theaters that showed it then.

I watched "For Greater Glory" a couple of weeks ago. It is about the Cristero War that occurred in Mexico from 1926 to 1929. It was an attempted counter-revolution against the anti-clericalism which had been enshrined in the Mexican Constitution of 1917 and was being strictly enforced by President Plutarco Eílas Calles. The anti-clericalism was a severe violation of the religious freedom of Mexico which was and is largely Catholic.
