Everyone can have an opinion about my chosen belief because you have to pay tax??? That is a big Yaiks
Everyone can have an opinion of your religion regardless, just as you can have opinions about whatever you want.

... but do you think your religion's institutions should be entitled to public money without having to answer questions about whether the money has been well-spent?

You would have to ask the Universial house of justice those questions

Is the OP complaining? It asked what if beli3vers stopped replying guys like yourself. A question...can't handle it?
The OP sure came across as complaining, just as your latest post comes across as unnecessarily defensive.

Do you agree that when it comes to public funds, transparency and accountability are important?

What would happen if religious people just stopped answering negative/over critical OP about their faith?

What if religious people didn't care what others said about their negativity toward religious scriptures?
IF you see injustice and do nothing
THEN you are as guilty (keeping it going)

It starts with judgmental thoughts
IF person does nothing THEN evil grows
It continues with judgmental words
IF I do nothing THEN evil grows
It begets disrespectful actions

Now it's difficult to stop
Better stop "evil thoughts immediatedly

Example:
Many years dictators (e.g. Pu + Xi) get away with inhumane actions. After awhile they feel free to do whatever they feel like; even wars

IF you don't stop evil, evil will devour you. Evil needs to be stopped, it won't stop out of it's own. Because evil breeds evil.

Even Hollywood knows that evil in movies sells better than goodness in movies. Even Presidents lie. Once you start lying, you need more lies to cover the original lie

What would happen if religious people just lived their life and let other people live their life?

You'ld end up in an echo chamber and make sure you don't get exposed to alternative ideas, views, beliefs, etc.

I don't consider that a good thing.

Then I suspect most would remain in their ideological bubble.
The ability to answer tough questions either strengthen your belief or in failing to causes you to reexamine what you believe.
Beliefs are usually not reliable so sticking to your bubble is probably not the best way of discovering what is true.
