I cooked a pot roast yesterday after finding a Manager's Special in the meat case. Now I'll use slices of that roast for various meals, tonight probably adding a sauce/gravy, so little variation from last night.

I have just got home from a Christian men's meal in an Anglican church hall

We had chicken stew followed by apple pudding with custard followed by a talk

Very nice it was too

Did you feel accepted as a Christian? Did it help you in your quest?

Yes

It was nice and friendly

I sat next to a man who had cats and we discussed cats

The following talk was about India given by a person who has been there!

I'll be making a very quick cheesy pasta with veg stock, cream cheese and pecorino romano (found a vegetarian one in tesco). Bit of garlic and parsley. So simple and ready in time for the pasta cooking.

I'm making Greek style barramundi and vegie risoni. I'm not really sure what's Greek about it, barramundi is an Australasian fish and risoni is Italian (I think) but that's what the recipe says so that's what I'm calling it.

I'm about to make chicken gyoza and char siu noodle soup. I don't know what any of that means but it seems simple enough to make.
