How does God do that? How can you know God is DOING THAT?First I shouldn't think God allows suffering, but when it happens he can only show his love to us and help us through difficult times, that's all.

I'd hardly call that suffering...Suffering is relative.... Have you ever been suicidal? Do you wish you were dead much of the time but dread the afterlife and living forever?I suffer from a small bladder. Ef God, right.
Suffering is not necessarily bad unless it makes one unable to accomplish daily tasks that are necessary for living... It's called depression. So we don't like suffering. Does that make it bad? I don't like pissing but ignoring it is problematic.
That's not an answer? That's a question. See that "?" thing at the end of the sentence? That makes it a question.Ever been suicidal?
That does not work for everyone.Hogwash. Makes me turn toward Him.
That makes it undesirable not bad. I enjoy my deppresions.Suffering is not necessarily bad unless it makes one unable to accomplish daily tasks that are necessary for living... It's called depression.
So suffering needs conditions before it becomes bad? Like who it happens to?I'd hardly call that suffering...Suffering is relative.
Have you ever been suicidal multiple times? Do you usually wish you were dead but do not like the idea of more suffering forever in an afterlife? Physical pain is physical pain. Mental-emotional anguish is suffering.I suffered a colonoscopy once. What did I lose?
So, suffering is up to each person? Suppose I enjoy suffering? Then suffering is good, yes? That does not work for everyone.
Ok. Sounds like you have an agenda.Have you ever been suicidal multiple times? Do you usually wish you were dead but do not like the idea of more suffering forever in an afterlife? Physical pain is physical pain. Mental-emotional anguish is suffering.
Define wrong as you use the word.I put this in the Religious Debate section because I often hear that God is bad because He allows suffering. Alright, pony up. What's wrong with suffering.
Why am I not allowed to ask a question?Trailblazer said: Ever been suicidal?

Not correct or true. Just like the dictionary.Define wrong as you use the word.
All suffering is negative. Some actions cause more suffering without a balancing positive effect, which makes it unjustifiable. I'm not understanding why you're having trouble with this.Oh I see, now "unjustifiable" suffering is bad. But my diarrhea is ok, then, because the chicken wings justified it.
If you enjoy them they are not depression, by definition.I enjoy my deppresions.
Okay then, suffering is not always wrong. Not correct or true. Just like the dictionary.
I see no correlation between the definition of negative and suffering. That's why.All suffering is negative. Some actions cause more suffering without a balancing positive effect, which makes it unjustifiable. I'm not understanding why you're having trouble with this.
When is it not correct or true?Okay then, suffering is not always wrong.
Suffering needs to serve a purpose to be good. Otherwise it is bad because it serves no purpose. So suffering needs conditions before it becomes bad? Like who it happens to?
And where in the definition of depression does that come from?If you enjoy them they are not depression, by definition.
