David Mundell has apparently said they will keep having the vote again and again until they get the result they want. So parliament can have as many votes as it wants on the same subject. But the rest of us get to have one and we can't have another even if the first was illegally won.
Surely not

If the Remoaners get their losers vote and the result 52/48 in favour of remain, what happens then?

Will the Leavers be able to kick up as much fuss demanding another vote as the Remoaners have done?

Technically speaking the last referendum was the Losers' Vote because (according to your idiotic 'you only get one vote on the subject' logic) that question was settled in the 70s.

Well assuming the Peoples' Vote goes in favour of Remain...

Does the phrase "You lost. Get over it." ring any bells?

What would you do if the result was in favour of Remain but was much more convincing than 52% - 48%?

Would you accept that if you demanded another referendum you too would be demanding a losers' vote?

The question that was settled in the 70s was not contested before it was implemented.

Therefore, working on your idiotic logic, the Leavers would be justified in demanding another vote.

The EU works on the same principle. Continue to vote until you get the result that you want.

It actually was. Have a look here for your convenience. Result: 67.23% In Favour, 32.77% Against on a turnout of 64.62% of the electorate. You see that? That's what a mandate looks like. I appreciate it looks quite confusing to you because the Leave vote didn't have one.

So you'd accept the Leavers calling for a Losers' vote in that case.

Can you name an instance of the EU demanding countries continue voting until they get the result they want?

Are you now saying that you would have been happier if David Cameron had just taken us out of the EU without a vote and later on, the Labour Party gave you a referendum on going back in?

Bear in mind that back in 1975 it was the Common Market, not the political quagmire that it has since become.

Why did southern ireland have to vote twice on accepting the euro or was it staying in the EU?

BBC NEWS | Europe | Ireland backs EU's Lisbon Treaty

I fail to see why even the Remoaners would want to be attached in any way to the failing EU and their yellow vests.
