I think most people who wanted to leave already made their mind up before the campaigning started like myself,the eu has no heart and nothing to unite it with.

In other words, the facts were irrelevant and you'd already formulated an opinion before you knew anything about it.

I watch the eu council debates and have for some time,its lots of chalk and cheese and word spaghetti,its going nowhere fast,I think broken within 10 years.

Why is there no mention on the downside of leaving the EU ?
Lord Lawson downplays any economic impact there might be. If it is so easy to get good trade agreements with countries outside of the EU then, considering how long he has been involved in politics, why hasn't he sealed those deals yet ?
