He gets plenty of callers on his radio phone-in but try as he might he can’t find many that disagree with him.

I was unaware that he had a phone in program.
However I am not surprised that his listeners would agree with him, as he is preaching to the converted. however narrow his audience.
You would have to be very committed right wing brexiteer to even to want to tune in to listen to him.

He will have many Remoaner listeners and occasionally they phone in.

Unlike O’Brien, he treats anyone with opposing views with respect and only cuts them off when they realise that they have lost the argument and become aggressive.

Nigel’s style is far above your hero.
Why do you jump to crazy assumptions, like James O'Brien is my hero???
He is a commentator on a chat radio show who often aligns with my views. He is NOT my hero.

In fact I think I can confidently say I don't have any 'heros' ... except maybe Eric Cantona

You really are so much in the Bubble there is no hope for you.

Not sure what Nigel could be upbeat about?
He will no longer have a seat himself. nor will he even qualify to stand for election.
Nor does he have any official position in British politics.
Yet he will get much of the blame for a brexit fiasco.
He is rapidly fading into the past.....

Indeed. He also won't be able to claim that MEP's pension he doesn't deserve either.

Nigel is much more of an expert on the EU than any other LBC presenter is and he thinks Ireland will leave the European Union too. He doubts that the European Union will even exist in 10 years.

Nigel Farage Reckons Ireland Will Follow UK And Leave EU

We need to leave while the leaving is easy.
Ha! Ha!

That shows what he knows about Ireland. There is no chance of them leaving - they know where their bread is buttered.

Who knows you might be right and so might Nigel.

If were to place an informed bet on you or Nigel being right I would have to back Nigel on EU related topics.

Yes, you would, he was spot on about
  • £350m/week for NHS
  • Turkey joining the EU
  • Albania joing the EU
  • + countless other scare stories
To be honest though, if someone who has spent the last 30-years moaning about the EU and much of it raking wages, expenses and a pension from the EU - if he didn't know more than me he's dafter than I think he is.

This is the same guy who tried to condescend to an Irish audience about Irish history; and how Brexit is an equivalent struggle to the Irish War for Independence.

He was rightly laughed at for his idiocy.

I have been out most of the day so things might have changed since Jeff made this video but so far, it looks like WTO is still the way to go.

Oh boy. No solution to the Irish inner border issue, no alternate deals, no way of bringing the 40% of food into the UK in due time, no reason for commercial partners to favor the UK.

You are in a collision course to a No Deal Brexit. The effects on your economy and job market will be dire and lasting.

Step out of your Bubble for a minute, don't listen to amateurs, listen to a trade negotiator talk about WTO

Are you saying we might end up a bit like Brazil?

It was debunked easily...

Nigel Farage owned after stating incorrect facts about Ireland and the EU on live TV

...he had the mickey taken out of him for being an idiot.

A lot like Brazil, as a matter of fact. Up to and including serious social unrest, violence and despair.

In case you have not noticed, I can't very well be hurt by references to my place of birth.

I am very detached from any nationalist feelings that might somehow survive in me.
