So Farage is up to his tricks in the European Parliament again...

But James O'Brian has him weighed up...
Q: What’s the most hypocritical, morally corrupt & contemptuous thing Farage could do next?
A: Easy. Beg ‘foreign’ politicians to frustrate the democratic will of the United Kingdom’s sovereign Parliament.

As a side issue, I think the reason NF has started his own 'new' party is that he sees Brexit going beyond the next EU elections and he wants to get himself a seat to ensure his income for another 5-years. An income based on not attending, ducking committees, criticising but not coming up with any solutions.

New Looks like Brexit is to be delayed.

Doubtful. The EU MPs want you out before the coming EU election.

So the EU might give you a month more but that will be it.

Once the EU commissioners have taken control of the UK, they will not be content until it has replaced Greece as the poor man of Europe and the Remoaners are no better.

Once we have lost the Pound in favour of the Euro it will be all over for the UK.

You'll be telling us next that there'll be £350/week for the NHS; Turkey and Albania will be joining the EU and we couldn't have a blue passport.

And the Brexiteers had the gall to call the Remainers campaign "Project Fear" - the leave campaign is nothing but fear and intimidation.

Now that the UK is losing any semblance of democracy, we are on a very slippery slope.

I just hope that the elected politicians realise what they are doing to their country.

Hansard will reveal how they voted and will determine how we vote at the next General Election if we ever have another.

This woman makes some very good points.

May you point some of those out?

In the first minute, she presents the 2016 referendum as the clear, workable goal that it demonstrably never was, and decrees that refusal of No Deal is the same as refusal of Brexit itself.

Then she decrees that Brexit is becoming a "free and independent nation". A popular piece of fiction, but no less fictional for that. In so doing, she specifically mentions and arrogantly refuses the single market and the idea of a customs union. She even claims that she is making things "clear". Such arrogance.

Immediately after that she again equates refusal of No Deal with refusal of Brexit itself. If only.

Then she correctly points out that a delay is of dubious utility, after these disastrous three years.

I don't think the claim that Labour is proposing staying in the Single Market and Customs Union is accurate. But the People's Vote is indeed a popular name for a second referendum, which is badly needed despite her stubborness.

The two first minutes sure fail to suggest those good points, and she is way out there regarding the true nature of the current situation's drawbacks.

We lost our democracy when elections that are funded by the Russians and the likes of Aaron Banks from undisclosed sources are not punished or cancelled and re-run.

There was a time when the UK would not have needed a citizen of Brazil to tell us what is and what is not democratic. How times change.

There were about 350 (yes that's three hundred and fifty) on the "Leave means Leave " march from Sunderland today. This compared to about 500,000 on the People's Vote march.
Oh, but don't forget the 8000 that turned up at SYL's march

The will of very few people

Here's a video of Nigel's triumphant march..

This makes you wonder what the UK government has been doing for the past 2+ years apart from twiddling their thumbs.

If only Davis and Johnson had got their fingers out and sorted it whilst they were in charge instead of running away.
The EU knew their position and stuck to it, we still do not have a position.
