I'm backing Britain just as all the other Remainers are. We just want what is best for our country. Not some vague promise of, "It may not be as bad as it looks"
There is only one side knocking coffin nails in, and it isn't the Remainers

Have you not seen the true colours of the EU yet?

This is not mass immigration. The workers follow the seasonal work and harvests around Europe and come and go as needed. Much like the Australian sheep shearers do around the world. Seasonal farm workers are experts and worth every penny that they earn. Mostly they are paid by results and do very well.

With open borders, it is not just seasonal workers though.

BTW, Soros is a good enough reason for leaving.

Oh grief, you swallow all the Tory press propaganda. The Soros stuff was started by Guido Fawkes and picked up by the Telegraph and Mail - it's all an echo chamber.

Why wasn't that the rallying call during the referendum?
It would look lovely on the side of a bus, "We will have hardships and difficulties connected to Brexit"

Basically you seem to be saying...we were sold a lie, but hard luck, the liers won

I'm not responsible for the Brexit sales staff, Altfish! :)
There were never going to be any free dinners whichever way the Brits voted, and both sides (no doubt) layered their offerings in 'more for you'......... it's a politics thing.

Humans can be so darned naughty, so we have to read between the lines.

You didn't really think that politicians tell us the absolute total truth, surely? Honest politicians?

Altfish! :)

No, I don't BUT when we have an election they publish a manifesto that you can hold a party to.
Both sides published a manifesto for the referendum, I expect Leave to deliver that manifesto - including the £350/week for the NHS. If not, let's have another vote and let someone else try with different promises

The big money seems to be coming out on the side of staying..i.e. Sorros, and the pressure from Japanese car manufacturers, who have advanced plans to move their investmrnts and factories to Europe.

It is not too late to do the right thing and stay.

It could happen........................
It could...................
I do believe that a second referendum would destroy Brexit by a 10% margin or more, because folks who were angry about immigration are now losing a few quid out of their pockets already.
A few quid has won elections before, and could win referendums. You know. You are/were a politician so you know how fickle people can be.
Me? I hope that we do go through with it because on our own we just might wake up in business, commerce, industry, travel, retail and education................. at the moment the whole lot is a mess. Pick a sector..?

If our business men and leaders can't survive now in the massive EU market place with almost no restrictions.
How on earth are they going to manage in the cut throat market place outside.
And at the same time they will face new costs and barriers trying to keep existing business.

It is not as if we have not tried to survive outside before, it took us years for us to persuade them to let us join.
We knew their plans for the "common market" and helped change it into the EU,so we have nothing to complain about.

If you look at our most successful businesses and industries, they are all foreign owned. They will have no compunction moving or operating from elsewhere.

It would but its never going to be,I wouldnt be keen on the american model either.

The EU will probably end up as a federal system, perhaps based on the German federal republic.
That has nothing to do with whether we are part of it or not. If we do indeed leave the EU that becomes an even more likely prospect, and would reduce the time frame by some years.

Our trade prospects would reduce further as we would be shut out.

I don't think the eu will be a thing in 10 years and as for trade, one thing our country is a good customer so I don't see us being shut out.
