Is this another reason the EU is so desperate to shutdown free speech?

After brexit Gibralta might begin to see the advantages of joining with Spain in the EU not far down the line.

I don't think so,there is no desire to join with Spain at all.

The protastant majority in Northern Ireland is moving closer to losing its population majority, which is inevitable in the future, probably before that comes to pass they will already have lost their voting majority.
At that point reunification becomes more than likely.

Not necessarily, its not only protestants who want NI to stay in the union.

We will find out what real fear is when Islam takes control.

Ahh, the xenophobic crystal ball again. Cool. In the mean time your staple vegetables will increase in price because they will need to be shipped from america, australia etc. And the meat market will collapse because 85% is shipped to the EU without which the UK meat industry cannot survive.

Those are fears based on facts, not on racist wishful thinking

I would rather suffer all that and more than become a Dhimmi in my own country.

This man can see through the EU.

How long will it take before other European countries realise that they have been sold a pup.

Unlike the ardent Remainer’s, most of the country would not celebrate the disillusion of the UK as a nation state.

Funny, he doesnt mention the freedom to live and work anywhere in the EU

He doesnt mention 3 million + uk jobs directly linked to EU import/export. Most of which will be lost.

He doesnt mention consumer protection which is an integral part of the EU

He doesnt mention the cross border policing fighting terrorism, people trafficking, cyber-crime, sexual exploitation, trafficking of children and paedophilia.

He doesnt mention the loss to british business of 700 billion customers in the EU.

He doesnt mention the fact britain is no longer a major player on the world stage, EU membership gave it power, that will end.

He doesnt mention that basic foods will skyrocket in price.

He doesnt mention that without a deal, borders will be a nightmare, with american border security style queues of people wasting their holidays.

Nothing is Necessarily So... but some things become more likely than others when times get difficult. And Brexit most certainly will cause problems for both Gibraltar and N Ireland.

And so will Italies and Spains economic crisis, its all avoidable but the EU is incapable to act accordingly which will be apparent unfortunately.

Do you want to stay in a club that treats its members in such a shoddy manner?

I don’t, but I don’t suffer from Stockholm syndrome.

If the EU wants to shoot its own foot while trying to punish us. So be it.

If John Major thinks it’s a good idea, that should be sufficient warning for the rest of us.

The EU is going down the pan and we need to bail out before we end up bailing the EU out.

Do not forget, they are desperate for our £40bn. We should refuse to pay and let Soros foot the bill.

The UK is the enemy of the state because we do not agree with their objectives.

We just need to be wary of all this fake news and listen to commentators like Jeff instead.

I do want us to stay in the EU.

If we leave we will regret it.
If there is no deal, it is because our offer is still unrealistic.
We know what the rules are, we helped write them. we must play by them.
Why should we expect 27 states give way on their principals to please just us.
They are a very large proportion of our trade,
however we are a very small proportion of theirs.
We are only hurting ourselves and our own people.
Our demands will come back to bite us.
They have been a far more reliable partner to us than the USA, who have recently imposed tariffs on our trade.

That's fine but a significant amount of people don't,personally I don't want to be part of a nanny bureaucratic hogwash, it's bad enough with the nanny state we've got.

The problem we have is that our parliaments have become used to being rule takers. What we need are some rule reformers to get rid of the unnecessary bureaucratic hogwash including the Political Correctness that is stifling society.

Yes and we're taking way too many rules from people so disconnected from reality, our parliament lacks backbone, a corby led parliament would be boneless,we need a strong no nonsense government.

Seems you suffer delusions, you have not addressed a single one of my points, instead you resort to ad hom and irrelevance, am i surprised? No, this is how you have responded from day 1.

Shoddy manner? Please explain in your own words why you consider the EU treats its members in a shoddy manner... Don't worry, i wont hold my breath while you ignore that request.

Stockholm syndrome? Please explain... See previous paragraph for my lack of expectation regarding your response.

You think? Please explain you thinking on the EU going down the pan. Oh never mind.

Desperate for 40bn, are you drunk? Its chicken feed. The uk will lose more by pulling out. And remember, not paying your debts will brand the uk a financial washout. How will you survive when the 1792 billion of British debt is recalled?

Wrong, the UK is welcome so stay in the club that it helped wright those objectives.

Ha, ha, did you know newspapers like the sun and mail are now considered fake news. Wake up and smell the coffee and croissants

IMO we should be feeling like

Control of our borders.
No more nonsense directives.
Self determination.
New trade deals.

I love Europe but never felt European, been to some amazing places there too, wine women but not so much song (ever seen the euro song contest lol) so I'm glad we're out and feeling positive, not every one is so here's your chance to say why.

Just saw this in another thread:
Brexit has cost Britain 500 million pounds a week, study says | Reuters

Your view would be appreciated.
