u know...I was a kid in the 90s and in Italy a weekly hour of "British Civilization" is compulsory in all schools.
So we were taught something we used to take for granted back then. We weren't taught that Britain's strength was multiculturalism...quite the opposite.

Why do you suppose African migration would have been any different with out the EU.
Historically migration of peoples has continued what ever the make up or policy of a country. Even the extreme Nazi exterminations were only a passing event in the history of Germany and have had almost no measurable affect on numbers.
Even Extreme right wing views, like your own, have little affect on the to and fro of migrant movements in the world. Such flows are in response to irresistible natural forces and events.

The Eu is run and led by the politicians of all the countries working together. Including those from the Uk.
Equally the EU's civil service, who you call technocrats, are selected and appointed by the leaders and comisioners from those countries. While members of the EU parliament are elected by the citizens of those countries. Decisions are made by agreement of everyone, none are imposed by technocrats.
In every instance the British representatives and government have agreed with all the decisions reached.
There are no " perpetrators " or "victims"
