When do you think Yeshua(Jesus) was born? In the summer, or the winter, does a church subscribe to a time that you agree with? Present your evidence and vote.

If we take the Biblical evidence into account, then I'd have to argue for a mid-spring birth. However, I don't really believe that he existed anyway.

Spring. That's the time the lambs are born, the time that shepherds would be watching their flocks by night. It's also tax time.

We believe he was born in the month of Ethanim (September-October) on the basis that the gospels say that Jesus was 'about 30 years of age' when he began his ministry, and his ministry lasted three and half years ending at the Jewish passover festival of Nisan 14 in the year 33 CE. That he died in the spring month of Nisan, is evidence that his ministry, which began three and a half years earlier according to Daniel 9:24-27, must have begun in the fall which is the month of Ethanim (September-October).

Well that's interesting. I've got a JW choice on my 'Christian....or?' poll btw.

You believe that Jesus “was born in the month of Ethanim (September-October)”? Then prove that Passover occurred “in the spring month of Nisan”. Prove also about the cursing of the fig tree occurred in Nisan.

By what dogma do either of you speak anyways? It's speculation anyways.

However Passor always occurs in Spring, so why are you skeptical of that? Therefore if we follow that line of reasoning he was likely born in the fall, and if he was born on a day of signifcance, like his death was, then he was born likely on Yom Kippur, but that's speculation.

The separds were tending their sheep, suggests that it wasn't the winter
