Where are Trump's financial data and tax returns?

You got me.
I don't know his motives.
But you do know that he promised to release them, right?
If he released them, heavily redacted, on November 7 at 11pm would you consider that keeping the promise? I already consider it a lie because it's too close to the election for intelligent analysis.
But I honestly don't think he will at all because he knows it won't help him win and he doesn't seem to ever do anything unless it gets him something important.

And his main financial adviser emphatically has said that they will never be released. Obviously, Trump could override him, but he ain't gonna do that. However, his supporters have much more blind faith in him than the most rabid fundamentalist does in their scriptures.

Sure.
But this singular failed promise carries no weight in determining my vote.

No.

I doubt that any intelligence would be brought to bear in evaluating them.
It would be naught but fuss'n & feud'n.

That's a reasonable, if unsatisfying (to the masses), approach.

So, you know he will lie about this.
But I don't know that.
Really, I see dishonesty in both Trump & Hillary.
One may argue which is worse, but it doesn't matter to me because it won't determine what they effect in office.
Why do you believe him when he claims he won't invade any new countries and reinstate the draft?
Tom
"Believe" is too strong a word.
"Estimate" is more accurate.

I believe that he'd re-build the military and its equipment heavily but be too "cheap" to go to war unless the freedom of the US itself is threatened. Not worthless wars like Iraq in the guise of defending freedom but more of a selfish country protection.

Why?
You also believe that there is a gulag of Mexicans in the USA for-profit prison system.

So,Hillary lies about a plane landing in Bosnia and Trump lies about his credentials to be president.
Got it.
Tom
Good....this mutual understanding is progress.
But don't go overboard...I'm not trying to get you to change your vote.

That's because there are. That is known. And it's costing the tax payers billions.
It is disgusting and inhumane.

If it is "known" to anyone besides you feel free to tell me.
I would be angry and start something. I am difficult that way. I will go out into the streets and start letters to the editor campaigns.
But you don't even seem to know one reason to believe this. I keep asking you and I get nonsense like "I am not your evidence slave".

Why would I, or anyone, believe you and not the Mexican people who are coming to this country?

Seek out the matter for yourself if you're interested. I don't expect you to believe based on words. I've already provided 2 links in the other thread.

Is there anyone who still believes that Trump was telling the truth when he announced that he would be releasing his returns before the election?
Tom

Ever since Trump declared his candidacy he has claimed to be a brilliant businessman and promised to provide his returns as evidence.
His business skills are about all he has to run on in the way of experience. Media savvy demagoguery isn't really too impressive to most people.

But not only has he not released those promised documents, the media seems to have forgotten that he promised to release them before the election.
At this point it probably doesn't matter. The USA electorate has come to a conclusion about who is most fit to be president and it is not Trump.

But can anyone still believe that he "tells it like it is" when he dodges and squirms out of that pledge?
Not everyone in this country forgets everything that the media decide to ignore.

Why eat it? Hillary won the popular vote. Most of those who voted felt Hillary was better suited for the job. Much like how most people who voted felt Al Gore was better suited for the job than Bush Jr.
The Republicans have been getting their asses saved by the Electoral College. Why don't we channel our anger and hatred at that, something that so many people hate and despise it that President Trump can lead the charge with the conviction of his words and put an end to it all. But that probably has the same chances of happening as him showing his tax records.
