Having an instinct to act a certain way doesn't make it the right way to act. Just cause everybody is doing it is not a reason to act that way.

Its not about what everyone else is doing.
It has nothing to do with anyone else's actions.

This is strictly base on the person committing the action.

The naturalistic fallacy consists in arguing that because something is natural, it is right or proper.

The fact that its natural doesn't make it right.
We are all held by the golden rule.
The one rule every religion contains.

Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

In order to have global peace we must all follow this rule.
I assure you, you would not be happy with someone telling you that its not okay to be sraight or to even listen to whatever music you listen to.

I am sick of this conotation that one religion is the one and true faith.
Its a bullfly scare tactic. I think people should reconsider their priorities in life.
If their main concern is controlling other people's ability to do something when it has no direct affect to anyone but the doer, their priorities are honestly not in order.

The video above perfectly describes why religion or a belief in a god is not needed for objective morality.

Warren Clark,
Have you ever heard of The Innateness Hypothesis? This is the belief that,at least rudiments of morality, and Superego. Even though some things are accepted as being innate, most of these qualities or traits only manifest themselves after a period of time. The superego or conscience and morality are more likely to come from the parents or the surrounding community.
If the parents demonstrate a certain morality, the chances are the child will also.Invirnmental influences are much stronger that any innate rudiments of qualities and conscience.
It didn't bother the consciences of cannibals to eat another human, even though the Golden Rule, spoken by Jesus, should have been an influence.
In the Holy Scriptures the HEART seems to be what the Bible means by conscience and morality. These things must be taught. When the world of mankind went bad, the Bible shows that this was caused by a bad heart, Gen 6:5, 8:21.
Consider what Prov 22:6, says; TRAIN up a boy according to the way he should go, and even when he gets old he will not turn aside from it.
This is teaching the morality and the conscience learned from the Holy Scriptures,, which are POWERFUL, Heb 4:12, Eph 4:22-24, Col 3:10-14. These scriptures make it clear that a good heart, morality and a good conscience can be instilled in a child.
The problem is; if a child is taught by parents who have not learned from God's word, there actions are much more powerful than their words,if, and that is unlikely, that their words or actions are good, in God's sight.
Learn from God's word and you will never go wrong. The Bible is like an instruction manuel for life. If you obey the instructions your life will be much better, Ecc 8:11-13.
