Where does the Quran say Muhammad is the last Messenger of God?

I understand that it’s very difficult for Muslims to cut themselves from views that have been taught for so many centuries but all the religions have fallen into this thinking, that they are the last religion and none will come after. But I don’t believe that God’s Hands are tied by the common views.

God if He so wills can change day into night and night into day, and at a Word from Him send Whomever He pleases. To maintain God cannot is to question His Sovereignty and that “He doeth whatsoever He pleaseth”.

We cannot say God can’t do this or can’t do that because then He would cease to be God.

Having no leader right now, means we would cut off from God with no connection. Bahaism couldn't continue Imammate, because Baha'allah offspring left his religion. It's your problem, not ours.

We still believe in Imam in present time like Quran says for every people there is a guide.

I don't understand how the world coming to an end means no more revelations.
I understand that If the world was coming to an end tomorrow, no more revelations needed. But, almost 1500 Years is passed from revelations of Quran.
600 years After Jesus, Muhammad came. Now, you are saying after almost 1500 years, still no revelations came. Why exactly though?

Again, the delay of the Mahdi is because God doesn't want a big catastrophe world scale wise, and so has warned us ahead of time and is delaying so we change tracks from his warning path.

When Mohammad (s) was sent, Mecca was under threat of destruction.

If a world Messenger comes now and it would be a universal real time Messenger, whole world can be under threat.

Try to understand, the warnings of Quran with respect to destroyed nations. The Mahdi is the biggest warning in this regard, because Mohammad (S) is sent to whole world, and so the final one of Ahlulbayt (a) of Mohammad (s) is a big threat.

So the delay of his appearance is for our sake.

Preserve his words? In the exaggerated story of Moses written by the same kind of men who killed Jesus, they claim that God actually wrote in stone with his own finger? "As Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, he burned with anger and threw the tablets out of his hands, shattering them at the base of the mountain."

What is God to you? An old man, long grey beard sitting in a chair out in space somewhere? God is spirit, he is the creator of subordinate beings from Sons of God all the way down to humans. The Son of God like Jesus, who is a divine being, is One with the Father in spirit. He is like his Father and subservient to his Father. They are ONE in spirit.

God forbid. But all messengers of Allah are special...they have to be for Allah to make them prophets and messengers. pbupon them all

Allah to me is the Creator of the Universe, of every living thing. He is like no other. He is ONE(not 3 in 1), He has no need of want, he doesn't beget nor is begotten and no one is comparable unto him.

Even his apostles struggled with his identity which wasn't really revealed until he returned from the death of his mortal body and met with them several times prior to returning to his place in heaven. Your doubts are understandable.

I don't have any doubts :)

Didn't say that.
So, it is clear to you that All apostles before Muhammad are dead, yet, why it is said Jesus or Khizr are alive?

See, Quran makes it clear, why it is said they are alive, yet the Quran says they were physically dead:

"And say not of those who are slain in God's cause, "They are dead": nay, they are alive, but you perceive it not" 2:154

It doesn't say all Messengers before Mohammad (S) are dead. You rely on conjecture. It says Isa (a) is alive for example and that all people of the book will believe in him before his death.

Isa (a) praying behind Imam Mahdi (a) is also narrated by many narrations - Sunni and Shiite.

Oh, so when Quran says All are dead, it is not saying all are dead?

"AND MUHAMMAD is only an apostle; all the [other] apostles have passed away before him: if, then, he dies or is slain, will you turn about on your heels? But he that turns about on his heels can in no wise harm God - whereas God will requite all who are grateful [to Him]" 3:144

I know Shia sect believe that there will be literally a Return or Rajat.
But Ali, rebuked such idea:

47- Maniul Akhbar: Ibne Walid has narrated from Saffar from Ahmad bin Muhammad from Uthman bin Isa from Salih bin Mitham from Abaya Asadi that he heard Amirul Momineen (a.s.) say reclining on a pillow, while I stood before him:

“We will definitely construct a pulpit in Egypt and destroy Damascus and remove the Jews and Christians from each corner of the Arab world and drive all the Arabs through this staff.”

Abaya says: I asked: O Amirul Momineen (a.s.), as if you want to say that you will return after death?

He replied, “It is not so, O Abaya, as you think; a man from me (my descendants) would perform these tasks.”

Have you seen this idea of Returning to world also existed in Jewish Faith. Then When John came, Jesus said John is return of Prophet Malachi?

Yes, exactly, just like Fatima (a) is an exception of Ahlulbayt (a) who is not a male. Allah (swt) sends Ahlulbayts as males who he reveals to per Quran, but we see they all have females like Sarah (a), Fatima (a), Mariam (a). The light is generally men but Fatima (a) is also light of God in parable of light.

This called generalization. It's generally true Messengers before him have passed away. To make universal with no exception, you would have to go out of your way and declare that.

There is the example when it says "none believed in him (Musa) except offspring of his people out of fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs..." despite the Sorcerers believing in Musa (a) as well.

In other words "(practically/almost the case of all) the Messengers before him..." (practically)none believed in him except offspring of his people out of fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs..." "(practically)we did not send before you except males...".

This is allowed.

Also there is verses that makes exception of Lut's (a) wife and there is verses that don't even mention it and say his family was delivered. The latter is allowed because of generalization.

Amazing, this is something great in Islam that we have the pleasure to know. What I did copy were Allah's names and qualities he has given himself. We know in Islam, he has over 99 names...the best of all names and attributes. To be able to describe Allah, it's just unfathomable except for what he taught us. These are his names he taught us and I don't make fun of them and very proud to say Allah is the only one worthy of worship.

But Imam Riza said if Allah wanted to extend life of anyone for needs of Mankind He would have extended life of Muhammad.

I think we need to see How Imams explained it.

Why would God keep Jesus, Khizr alive, but not Abraham, and Muhammad?
Do you see a logic to make few exceptions?

The exceptions make sense to me. But more importantly, they are true per Quran. Isa (a) is alive per Quran.
