How does this attire defeat the purpose for going to the beach? Is there just one purpose, and do you alone define it? I might go to the beach to search for shells, interesting rocks, objects. I might go there to swim, yet not get sun burned, or I might go there just to have a picnic. Then, I might go there to see a sun set or rise. There are many reasons to go to a beach, and I see no issue with wearing modest attire. Why do you have an issue with it? Females can not go to a beach wearing what is comfortable?Completely ridiculous attire, which defeats the purpose of going to the beach.
