Pretty sure you don't want a big city, but I think you might like St. Catherines or Niagara Falls or even Fort Erie. Actually that whole area is really nice -- good wine growing country with orchards absolutely all over the place. And they're all just minutes from Buffalo, giving you very easy access to PA.Ontario, Canuckistan.
Don't know which town, but I'd want easy access to PA.
"Suits"
Gawd, I'm annoying.
None better.

That's fine, there's lot's of great country and small towns all around the Jordan Valley and the Niagara region. Or anywhere on the Niagara Escarpment if you like hills and forests, instead of rolling farmland. And you're still really close to the border. St. Catherines is right across the Niagara river from Youngstown, NY.Cities don't suit me for living.
Only visiting sometimes.
Only some cities.

On which side? Nobody on this side threatens violence. I've crossed that border hundreds of times.Oh, if only that border were easier to cross when
driving a truck & trailer full of tools & machinery.
Delays, threats of violence, & searches. Ugh.
Ya know...I don't recall. On which side? Nobody on this side threatens violence. I've crossed that border hundreds of times.
Per the thread title and poll.
Whether or not you can move, do you wish to do so or not?
One local said they had 3 months of winter and 9 months of bad weather.I knew a guy who lived there, dead now unfortunately. He said it needs a special something to be one with the weather.

Sounds like the rest of the UK these days. I don't think I've seen a week of dry weather all this year. It's July - 15 degrees, windy and rainy. Again.Sounds about right
Well, one of my very best friends is from Schenectady, NY. Born and raised there, lived half his life in the U.S. He now lives in Toronto with his family, and only rarely bothers crossing the border -- mostly for trips to visit friends on vacations in the Finger Lakes area and Adirondacks.Ya know...I don't recall.
Does it matter?

Well, I guess you're stuck there. But you'd be most welcome here, if you ever change your mind.Crossing is too difficult, regardless
of which side is culpable.
Border guards often think otherwise.Well, I guess you're stuck there. But you'd be most welcome here, if you ever change your mind.
