Which evolved first, the anus hole or the colon ?

Was it the hole first or the colon or both simultaneously ?
Just out of curiosity, why do you keep on making these threads. I know this one is a reaction to the other mocking thread, but I don't understand your argument when putting up these questions. It seems that you are just trying to "stump" evolutionists, but it has been explained several times now that no question of this sort could possibly disprove anything about evolution. But, maybe I am completely off base. If I am, I apologize.

The anus. Why do you keep asking these questions?

Because they can't be bothered to self-educate about biology or ask relevant experts instead of a bunch of non-experts on a web forum, apparently. I'm all for asking questions, but it really bothers me when people query non-experts on web forums for information that really should be sought in an authoritative book from your university or public library. Maybe it's the librarian in me - when people go to poor sources of information for fact-based questions it just grinds me the wrong way.

According to t'wiki, a colon evolved from Arisotpanes of Byzantium's middot ⟨·⟩, via a semi-colon.

The wiki also says:
In British English, it was once common for a colon to be followed by a hyphen or dash to indicate a restful pause, in a typographical construction known as the "dog's bollocks"

I suspect they don't really care to know.

You haven't heard. Evolution is just a conspiracy theory.

I know there's a snarky joke in here somewhere. Give me some time...

If you can read this, you are as lucky as I am.
I'm knee-jerking here, but I believe one of the first creatures with bilateral symmetry that differentiated a mouth and an anus was the flatworm.

It had a body cavity and no internal organs for digestion. It ingested into it's mouth and as the food passed through, it absorbed the nutrients directly. Then it passed out the back end.

Yes kids, the flatworm. One of the earth's first anus-sus-es (someone help me with the plural).

Alright. Either you're so dense it's a miracle you haven't collapsed into a black hole, or you're the greatest Andy Kaufman impersonator to ever live.

Biological error there........ One would collapse through the black hole, on into a black colon.
Sorry for nit-picking.
:p
