Obama allowed Putin to take Crimea, after the Russian reset button was pushed by Hillary, Obama, Biden and Putin. Then Trump came in office and spoiled their fun. Putin did not dare expand into Ukraine under Trump. He waited until comrade Biden was in office, and then he invade Ukraine. Biden did not even try to stop this, since an arrangement was made. Now we have this money pit war that is too big to fail, until Trump returns to office to end it.
The Russian Collision Coup was all projection from these comrades in the deep state who benefitted by the Putin reset button expansion plans. The money going into this war has become a slush fund.

You speak of this as it's proof of what? From where I sit, Putin was hoping that Trump would create chaos and discord between European NATO nations that it would fall apart making Putin's future invasion of Easter Europe easier, to say nothing of the lack of support for Ukraine under Trump (when Putin actually believed that he had a world class military). When Biden was elected that dream ended and he attacked.
Though I don't hear many, if anyone speak about it, Three different areas where the third-largest shale gas reserves at 42 trillion cubic feet (1.2 trillion cubic metres), according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, behind France and Norway. Oil and Gas in Ukraine, the first was in the EEZ (exclusive economic zone) off the coast of Crimea, the other was in the Donbas region and the last was in the west of Ukraine not far from Transnistria, the break away portion of Moldova currently Occupied by Russian troops and sympathizers.
IMO, this war, whatever the propaganda and pretexts have been has always been about preventing Ukraine from exploiting it's newly discovered oil and gas and selling it to Europe.
Russia is an energy company with an army (and Nukes).
So your right about one thing, the war was about money, but not Western arms, but Russian's maintaining their dominance of Oil and Gas in Europe.
