Who did the Muslims worship?

Before Mohammed had his vision in the 6th century a.d., who did the Muslims worship? They claim that the bible has lies in it so how did they know where to find the Word of God? Or do they believe that God abandoned them for thousands of years until Mohammed? Thank you. :)

Muslims didn't exist before Muhammad started preaching Islam, so it's rather like asking who did Christians worship before Jesus. Of course Muslims themselves hold a different view, that all prophets right up to Adam were Muslims in the sense of being submitters to Allah's will.

so why did you even post this if you know about our view which you have spoken about in the last sentence

Pre Islamic Arabs worshiped a variety of deities, the Allah we know as the Monotheistic Islamic God, was worshiped as a god among other deities, for example, Allah was worshiped along side his daughters: Uzza, Manat, and al Lat.
the moon was also an element in Arabic paganism.

Response: They worshipped Allah. Muhammad(pbuh) is just the last Messenger and Prophet of Allah but the message of Muhammad(pbuh) was no different from the message of Jesus, Moses, David, and other prophets, all whom were muslims themselves.

I see a statement, now all we need is the proof.

From your post it seems that you imply that people in Arabia have worshiped a monotheistic Allah in the spirit of the Judaic Biblical prophets and leaders since the times of Eden..
thats a very romantic notion, now all we need to do is validate it.

Because the first sentence is the non-Muslim view which happens to be my own. The latter sentence is the Islamic belief.

who said anything about arabia?

the pagans were idolators, but the knew that above them a supreme leader existed, but they were not going to deny the idol, seeing that they were ignorant people, just as history has revealed.

anything else?

now how about you dissproving that?

Response: The question posed in the opening post is asking for who did "muslims" worship before Muhammad(pbuh), not the people of Arabia. So there is no implication at all.

the ancestors of the today known jews, the followers of moses.

correct...

that split up into two groups if I remember rightly...

essentially one guy had a fat ugly woman who was ripe, and fertile

The other guy had a thin beautiful woman that wasnt able to have kiddywinks

One group became the jews, the other the muslims....

....

Of course, the modern conflict in Israel Palestine is said to go back to David and Goliath. This would make the muslims Philistines..I guess
