Who is the real Imam Mahdi? Is he still to come?

The Bab wrote that He is the Qaim, and the Mahdi. When the Bab was martyred, Bahaullah said , He is the reappearance of the Bab, meaning after the Bab, Bahaullah was the Mahdi.
In Hadithes it is written that "No Mahdi except Christ". In my view, this is certainly an authentic Hadith. Thus, Bahaullah was both the Mahdi and Christ.

Also @Trailblazer

It was offered to @paarsurrey that to understand how Baha'u'llah is the Mahdi, does requires the reader to understand what Baha'u'llah offerd.

Baha'u'llah offered that all names and titles revert back to the Manifestation and Baha'u'llah is currently the focal point of all past Names, the whole purpose of their Message.

In the name Baha'u'llah, 'The Glory Of God', all Names are seen.

There are many works of Baha'u'llah still untranslated, but I just came upon this provisional translation.

I see it contains the information we are looking for;

InvestigateTruth wrote, " It is well known that the Bab claimed to be the Mihdi"

But one could not quote from Bab claiming for himself being Imam Mahdi so it is wrong to state that it is well-known, no sir, it is just wishful thinking of Bahaism people or mere a conjecture, I understand. Right, please?
Nevertheless, one has a right to believe whatever one wants without reasons or basis, if one so likes. Right, please?

Regards

You may be able to find the original. Of the Tablet.

It appears you will find what you ask in that Tablet.

Trailblazer wrote," Baha'u'llah also wrote that Muhammad claimed to be the return of all the Prophets of the past."

Please quote in this connection from Quran the first and the foremost source of guidance whatever the denomination of Islam, please.
Right friend, please?

Regards

I am sorry, but I am not familiar enough with the Qur'an to quote it from there.

Maybe @ adrian009, @ Tony Bristow-Stagg , and @ loverofhumanity can find it in the Qur'an and quote it.

This will be a Hadith supported by Quran passages.

This has been discussed in detail in other threads on RF @InvestigateTruth has quotes this many times.

Are you able to see the original tablet by Baha'u'llah on Imam Husayn? The one quoted as a provisional translation above?

Friends were looking for a quote from Bab for his open and public claim for being Imam Mahdi in clear, straightforward, unequivocal and unambiguous terms in a book written by Bab , please. Right friend, please?
I have checked the tablet, it is not written by Bab so sorry it has no relevance to the topic of the thread, please. Right friend, please?
If I have missed, kindly, quote the relevant passage, please. Right friend, please?
Can't one be specific to the issue, please, or admit that there is no such claim by Bab as our friend @Trailblazer vide post #128 accepted, I understand, that there is no such claim by Bahaullah, please. Right friend, please?

Regards

Sorry you have crossed the wires. There is no confusion with what we post.

That answer you asked for from the Bab has been given and it was as clear as day.

You originally asked for the Bab and Baha'u'llah claims (would you like me to go back and quote?). Since then I posted and @InvestigateTruth also posted for the Bab, and from. His writings.

I said I would get back to you about Baha'u'llah, to which I did and there is a link quoted above.

So we have now provided from both the Bab's and Baha'u'llah's writings what you asked for.

Please do you acknowledge that is correct, that we in all honesty answered your request?

We do not expect you to accept those claims, just that we provided you with the material requested.

Regards Tony

Please mention post # where one gave Bab's claim from his own written book , if I missed . The one I saw (vide one's post #166) in Arabic is not written by Bab, I understand, but a collection of excerpts from him done by Bahaism people, not an original full writing by Bab. Right friend , please?
It will be better, therefore, if one quotes a book written by Bab published by the Babism people with such claim. Right friend, please?
The link given vide post #170 by friend @InvestigateTruth also mentions the words "selections-writings-bab", please correct if I am wrong. Right, please?

Regards

The Bab has been covered, proof provided and there is no more need for discussion.

This is what I was talking about, this is the post to a provisional translation of a Tablet by Baha'u'llah.

Our friend @Tony Bristow-Stagg has expressed vide his post #172 , I understand, not to participate in the discussion anymore perhaps. Friend @loverofhumanity is not writing in the thread and friend @danieldemol is only liking the posts of other Baha'ism people in the thread lately, and not writing!? Right friend, please?

You asked the question, we provided answers, so did you read what the Bab wrote in a Tablet? Also did you read what Baha'u'llah wrote in the Tablet at the supplied link?

It answered what you asked.

How much more participation are you after?

No, I don't think like that, but that is an excerpt from the book كتاب الاسماء:
5: EXCERPTS FROM THE KITÁB-I-ASMÁ (THE BOOK OF NAMES)
Bahá'í Reference Library - Selections From the Writings of the Báb

I want to see the whole book in the original language written by Bab and of course its translation in English also. Excerpts don't provide the context, that is very important and needed. Right friend, please?
Why be hesitant in this connection, please?

You won't see the entire 3000+ pages because part of the text according to my understanding has not been located yet.

That being said 26 manuscripts exist, and I doubt you need the entire 3000+ pages to get context, the surrounding paragraphs should be enough.

You may find the Wikipedia article on it informative.

nor did he write it and force it on others: D just like Jesus
are you basically saying that love is god? isn't it evil?
a misunderstanding of the manuscript will be so exciting at the Last Judgment as will other nations
seek and believe that the book will seal me how to seal it? the key is in the numbers otherwise they wouldn't be there and there aren't signs for easier finding
such magic from people no: D

it is as if I were to interpret everything according to the guidelines of all religions, such as Christianity
it is not a matter of preaching only showing an example
Revelation 1:14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Revelation 19:12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns; his name is written and no one knows it but himself.
Revelation 12: 3 And there appeared another sign in heaven, saying, A great fire dragon, which had ten horns and seven heads, and upon his head had a royal crown.
Revelation 13: 1 And I saw a beast coming out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on those horns are ten royal crowns, and on their heads are names that offend God.
basically you can say whatever you want but whole books have a twist
