Yes as referendums can have long term consequences which a lot of people never consider or even care about. Rights can be violated merely based on the masses opinion.

Often the balance I see is the lowest threshold possible rather than anything comprehensive. You are going to have to suggest a balance for me to look at. Typing the word does not tell me anything about an actual balance and what it entails.

It is because they place a premium value on these things and believe they are useful tools to manipulate. Ultimately they are projections for their own insecurities.

I see the same kind of low level jabs used against feminists, vegans and so on. It probably works on some more insecure people, who don't want to be thought of as having these physical traits. Probably worst of all is that it targets people who in general are already bullied for something they can't change.

I just bought another assault weapon and it looks much like this one but less fancy:

I bought it to shoot. I have already proofed the barrel with %50 more of the standard load of the times with modern (2F GOEX) black powder fired with an electric match (which I make myself) three times then inspect for possible cracks or damage then fire three times more just because. After refinishing the wood I think it will be a fine addition to my arsenal.
I am not reselling it so I have no care of diminishing the value, it's a firearm that is meant to be shot and not collecting dust somewhere.
