Why not? I don't hold a grudge.Do you forgive me?
Bless you sir.Why not? I don't hold a grudge.
Bless you sir.
We believe Him because He has the message from God. But before we believe that we have to check Him out.Why believe the messenger? We know that prophecy has failed. We covered that. Is there any reason that one messenger should be accepted over another? How does your messenger compare to Bobby Henderson?
By loving one's existence, the miracle that it is.So why would anyone believe in your version of God? How would someone even know if such a god existed?
No, God reveals God through the Messenger. So God reveals God to the Messenger?
Is the Messenger in the form of a man or an Angel? No, God reveals God through the Messenger.
The Messenger is a Manifestation of God, a perfect mirror image of God.
He is a man but he is more than a man, he is kind of a God-man, a hybrid of sorts. Here is an apt description:Is the Messenger in the form of a man or an Angel?
Thank you, I understand. He is a man but he is more than a man, he is kind of a God-man, a hybrid of sorts. Here is an apt description:
A Messenger of God is a subtle, mysterious and ethereal Being that has been assigned a twofold nature; the physical, pertaining to the world of matter, and the spiritual, which is born of the substance of God Himself. His body is human but His Soul was not conceived at conception like ours, but was rather pre-existent. In that preexistence His Soul was given the capacity to receive direct revelations from God. Although the Messenger had to translate that Revelation into a form we could understand, His Words are endowed with an invisible spiritual force.
But the Predictions of Baha'u'llah did fail. When a prediction is too vague it fails by default. That puts him in Bobby Henderson territory, unless you can think of something better. We believe Him because He has the message from God. But before we believe that we have to check Him out.
Predictions Baha'u'llah made did not fail, but that is not the way to determine if He was a real Messenger of God or not. We determine that by looking at His life and mission and what He wrote.
Baha'u'llah is in a class of His own. Nobody can be compared to Him. He is the greatest Messenger that was ever sent by God, not because He was better than the others but because His Mission was much more important.
Bobby Henderson is not a Messenger of God.
Because I believe Satan is real. I feel his power every (almost every) day.
The prediction came true, it was just too vague to be useful for you.But the Predictions of Baha'u'llah did fail. When a prediction is too vague it fails by default. That puts him in Bobby Henderson territory, unless you can think of something better.
Not just to me, too vague to be of any use to anyone. I too am a Messenger of God by those low standards:The prediction came true, it was just too vague to be useful for you.
Baha'u'llah's predictions are not the proof of His Prophethood...
“Say: The first and foremost testimony establishing His truth is His own Self. Next to this testimony is His Revelation. For whoso faileth to recognize either the one or the other He hath established the words He hath revealed as proof of His reality and truth. This is, verily, an evidence of His tender mercy unto men. He hath endowed every soul with the capacity to recognize the signs of God. How could He, otherwise, have fulfilled His testimony unto men, if ye be of them that ponder His Cause in their hearts. He will never deal unjustly with any one, neither will He task a soul beyond its power. He, verily, is the Compassionate, the All-Merciful.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 105-106
Or perhaps we suffer because the universe does not exist to serve us, but rather we, it. And that when we ignore this, and presume ourselves to be demigods, standing in judgement, and seeking to control all that we encounter, we just make everything worse than it could otherwise have been, both for ourselves and for everyone around us.Yes, suffering leads to Greater spiritual Perfection and greater reward in the next life.
Sometimes, the people that God loves the most must suffer the most
Is there a logical reason to believe in one's own life/existence? PleaseThere is no logical reason to believe in God or the afterlife. There are emotional reasons, certainly, but I cannot have faith that nothing is something simply because it would be reassuring. I can't believe in god any more than believing in invisible monkeys.
I'm a little afraid of you.atheism is plain wrong. atheism can be justified only when religions start talking crazy. bad religions promote atheism. if religions work properly, then atheism will be eliminated.
