I pick avatars purely because I like the way they look (although I did have one of The Mask a while back because I love the character).

I have odd aesthetic taste I guess!

I like the mask, hope you don't mind but since I am a big girls blouse the one you have now sent slight shivers up my spine. I get that way with blood, passed out when hubby cut hit finger and I was trying to put a plaster on it

I switch my avatar out pretty often. But I really like this one - it fits my sense of mischief, with a dose of vintage glam thrown in (the photo is from around 1900). It's from the Art Nouveau era and that's one of my favorite art styles.

What happened next was I ran out of money to pay for the art and couldn't find a publisher for the entire series so it currently sits in my projects folder going nowhere. Thanks for the Kudos though, they are greatly appreciated.

Genuinely that is a shame, you are very good at it. If you ever are in the position or can receive funding, GO FOR IT! You have a talent
