Either...
A. You're willfully refusing to understand what RF is for.
B. The concept is too complicated for you.
or,
C. You couldn't care less, ie., you're going to do what you want in spite of the fact that it isn't welcome here and that you signed an agreement saying you'd post in accordance with RF's stated purpose.
Apparently, respect for others, courtesy, and any sense of obligation to honor your own word are all beneath you.

I think it's hilarious that you think that atheists want to claim that atheism is a religion. Ninety nine percent of the time, atheists have to explain to people like you that atheism is NOT a religion (in the context that you are using the term), it is the lack of a belief in God.

Autodidact..threatened is not how I feel. I guess I'm disappointed that SOME atheists are so derogatory to believers. It's no about what's said. It's more about the way it's said. I'm not easily offended.
I just wanted to start a thread so believers had a spot to debrief.
I'm agnostic really and yet I would not call a believer an idiot or arrogant, especially on a religious forum, where I'd expect believers to be. I like to see respect for peoples opinion because no ones opinion is any more important than anyone elses. When one disparrage someone, regardless of how stupid the believers comment is, I see this as arrogance. Believers also can be arrogant, of course, but hey, it's a religious forum.

As for baiting..there are heaps of baited threads..proove there is a God...proove creation. That's Nobel prize stuff.

Suggestion -
Rather than create a thread that isn't much more than an attempt to have a gossipy-look-how-pathetic-all-these-atheists-are diatribe, use the report button if you see a post that breaks the rules (the report feature is there for the mods to maintain a civil atmosphere).
Again, use report feature if you do actually see posts like this. Homosexuals get this kind of treatment from believers by being called "evil" or "disgusting" or "selfish." I'd suggest the same thing to them.
Oh, and you say you're an agnostic? Interesting.......

Only atheists? Are these atheists violating program rules? If so, why not ask for moderator help? Recently we've had several fundamentalist Christians enter and be banned within a week, so I suggest to you that atheists are not the ones having difficulty following forum decorum.
About those big mean scary atheists. Frankly, I think starting a forum about other people in a place where they are not allowed to post demonstrates both a lack of consideration and insecurity.
Maybe the particular believers were behaving in an idiotic or arrogant manner. It's not religious belief that I find intrinsically idiotic or arrogant, it's arrogance and idiocy.
Really? Have you ever seen atheists suggesting that religionists not be allowed to post?

I generally wouldn't either, but that all depends on the believer and the situation. 95% of the time it's unnecessary and uncalled-for.
Also, I'm not really sure why the fact that you're on a forum where you'd expect believers to be would make a difference in this case.
How is it arrogance to go through pages of dialogue trying to explain over and over the theory of evolution, and when the believer still refuses to even attempt to understand what you're saying, you call a spade a spade? You might not like it, which is your prerogative, but I fail to see how it's arrogance.

Of course we do. A lot of times we do. That's because believers still control America, and they still do things like discriminate against the LGBT community thanks to their religion. But anyway, yes, some atheists do feel threatened by believers, and some believers feel threatened by atheists. I fail to see how this justifies this thread of yours.
How is that baiting? You might have missed it, but this is a forum for debating religion. It sounds to me like those threads are created to debate religion. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're baiting or there's anything wrong with them. And certainly creating one of your own that's even worse than that is not the solution.
