Why do disbelieves hate the word disbelievers

It makes no sense why they hate it.

They dont believe in it so why does it bother them?



Personaly iam proud kafir/disbeliever in judaism/christianity/hinduism/buddhism/atheism because i will never believe in their doctrines.

I've never encountered anyone who said they hate the word "disbeliever."

I can see where some people might find that it isn't very accurate in describing them or their views, but I don't expect many people "hate" it.

Because "Kafir" has another meaning that several people have tried very, very hard to explain to you. The word "disbeliever" is fine. "Kafir" is not.

Every religion says its the truth.

The fact is that u are disbeliever in islamic doctrine just like iam disbeliever in trinitarian doctrine.

That is so poignantly Muslim. It doesn't matter what is true. It's none of my business. Muslims would rather believe things that aren't true than have somebody point out what's false about their beliefs.

I'm also fairly certain that atheism doesn't have a set doctrine.

You know why Islam becomes more wrong with every passing year? Because Muslims believe that innovation is against God.
If God tried to teach you something new, the way He did Muhammad, you would reject it. Because you don't believe in God, you believe in Muhammad.

Kafir is commonly used in a derogatory context and basically it's synonymous with calling someone dirty. It carries such weight as an insult because belief in God is the most important thing in Islam - er go being a disbeliever must be the ultimate disgrace and sign of being the worst of creatures. The Quran even says this once or twice.

I find it rather strange that derogatory terms for ethnic groups like the p-word (for Pakistanis) or calling Arabs 'sand n*****s' can land you a warning point or two but Muslims can throw 'kafir', 'rafidah' and 'majoos' at people to their hearts' content given there's never anything other than malign intent behind these words. To be honest, I don't hate being called it; especially by people who follow such a morally skewed belief system. I just don't like the double-standards involved in letting Muslims use such terms in conversation.

I wasn't aware that I hated to be called a disbeliever. Although if I had to speculate resistance, it's probably a pushback against marginalization.

I simply don't care and think this a just a myth that Muslims babble about among themselves to make themselves feel better. I've never heard of anyone saying they cared about being called a disbeliever let alone not liking the term, LOL.

Kafir means someone who disbelieve in Islam. Someone who doesnt even recognize the existence of Allah.


It would be injustice to call non-followers of islam "believers", they dont believe in Allah etc
